Will hold Dow, 60 from a "rookie" in round 1 is acceptable. Nothing much else from last nights game

only took 2 i believe, not sure why wietering took most of them, he just kicked long and turned it overCorrect, he left 10-20 points out there from not taking kick outs.
West AdelaideDoch was too stuffed ....he made a couple of tackling attempts on Dusty, and you cold see he was physically spentCorrect, he left 10-20 points out there from not taking kick outs.

This is generous, thought his "tackling" was shithouse. Also dropped a massive clanger at the end.Doch was too stuffed ....he made a couple of tackling attempts on Dusty, and you cold see he was physically spent
That's when Weitering took over the kick-ins
He'll be much better for the run ....sorry for the cliche![]()
West AdelaideCARL's tackling in that last qtr lacked real intent .....but exhaustion was evident in most CARL playersThis is generous, thought his "tackling" was shithouse. Also dropped a massive clanger at the end.

Relax mate. Dusty always has a big Round 1. You've spent 3 months putting a side together. Don't make knee-jerk reactions after one game. Zerrett will score more points this year than Dusty will.Already working out a way to get Dusty in as he is looking like a must have.
Have put Laird at M4 and taken out Merrett who I'll trade to Fantasia or L.Jones (can also use as loophole if he doesn't play) and then go Dow > Dusty.
Not going another week without Dusty, he'll score 200 against the Hawks.![]()
Exactly he's a big game player, last night was perfect for him. See what happens next week vs Hawthorn in the afternoon with a smaller crowd and the tigers are 50 points up at half time. He'll be waddling around the forward line not giving a shit and score 70 (hopefullyRelax mate. Dusty always has a big Round 1. You've spent 3 months putting a side together. I know you aren't Dustys biggest fan uncle Jisk but you have to admit that he looked bloody good last night.
Dusty could easily average 110 this season if he keeps putting in performances like that.
You're getting a glimpse into the mind of a trade-aholic here. You don't run out of trades by round 15 by being sensible and thinking long term!Don't go chasing points, you didn't start him, gotta accept that and make him upgrade target #1 if you really think he's a must have.
What are you going to think if Merrett goes 125+ tomorrow? You've kept 350k in the bank, are even more behind points by playing a rookie over a premo and you're 1 trade unnecessarily down after 1 round.
The season is not a sprint.

Wouldn't be trading out Merrett for a rookie.
Turning Impey and Daniher into rookies frees up $200k.
Going Lloyd > Daniel frees up $100k and Neale > Jelly $100k too.
Havent really lost too much and over $400k in the kitty to go Dow > Dusty.![]()
So your plan is to get rid of the 2 best players in their respective positions AND 2 of the best potential cows with job security and solid scoring potential in order to fund 1 trade based on points you've already lost??????

Soo Cripps > Walsh or is it too early...

Besides alcohol I live for this thread.
