I chose to have Magner in my side for Round 1 not realising he was not playing. Swapped Magner for Wines. Broughton was my only injury this week, so gave him up for Terlich.

$479,300 in the bank, if Danger doesn't improve over the next few rounds the cash will be spent on adding Ablett to my side (if he is in form still). Will obviously focus on injuries/not playing first.

He's always in form.

At the moment I am looking to do:

ZSmith -> Kruezer
Harper -> Rowe

Not too sure on Rowe's overall JS for us, but if he can impress on Sunday and be a competitive target up forward he will do his chances no harm of holding his spot. And with no Warnock this week, Kruez should have a big one again.

Should I drop Whitfield or Koby Stevens (for Wines).

I think Stevens could avg 80 if he plays full games... damn it keeping Stevens! Murphys law will put me in the vent thread of course.

Do you have other problems that need to be resolved before next week ?

I'm keeping Lucas and Stevens in my side this week, but one will be downgraded to a rookie if they perform like they did last week, freeing up some cash for an upgrade.

I mentioned it in the gameday thread, I could swear I had Goodes because I'd been planning to put him in. It's basically a wasted trade but at least he's in now.
The same thing happened to me with Deledio last year. Somehow he just made his way out of my team without me realising it.

Just feeling or any hints/articles?
you right. just a feeling. but look at Brisbane team. who else would be their sub. plus i went on Brisbane forums and the supporters reckon he is a good candidate for sub. beams being the only other option but they reckon he wont get it twice in a row

I also reckon that Karnezis might be sub. Beams looked like he coped with the midfield pressure of the 'Dogs much better than Karnezis did. Brisbane's staff also irrefutably love Beams. Wouldn't be surprised to see them switch.

If that's the case, Karnezis > Kennedy. But I need to be surer.

Another reason for Watts and Lucas to sit tight.

Trying to decide between Karnezis -> Monfries and Macaffer -> JJK.
At least wait until Macaffer's first price rise. He's rookie priced with reasonable JS. And rookie forwards are few and far between.

Yeah, forgot I had a certain Blicavs as R2 situation to sort out... :oops:

Went Danger -> Liberatore and Naismith -> Leuey.

Polkinghorne was terrible last week & Lester is not even AFL standard IMHO. I would think based on pre-season form that either of those 2 guys would be the sub. I wouldn't read too much into where players are named on the official team sheets. After all, Jack Redden is named last on the bench, doesn't mean he was the last picked though.

I'm looking at upgrading Lucas to Libba next week, depending on performances...
Libba's an experiment that could pay off, or could kill me. He showed last week that he's taken a massive step forward on-field and that this year could be an absolute breakout as a player - in addition, he's behind Cooney and Griffen for the tag every week.
