How can you possibly say Judd and Pendlebury aren't accumulators and distributors, yeh Judd's nearing retirement, but he still gets and gives out more than his fair share, and little need be said about young Pendlebury on both accounts

I love Chappy, but just can't see the point of this trade. Zorko will more than likely bounce back and pump out a 120+ this week. Some crazy premo knee-jerking going on in this thread based on just 1 game. How do you know that Zorko will be too inconsistent? He was very consistent last year, and another AFL pre-season under his belt and in his best football years are right now, if anything he will get better. From what I have read elsewhere, he was under the weather last week, which would explain the poor game by his standards..that and he was playing HF in a game where his team got smashed.

yeh the fact that Zorko will more than likely get 120+ (which i agree with, well, over 100 anyway) just further proves my point that he'll be inconsistent (50 one week 120 the next). and yeh as you said his side got thrashed and thus he got a low score, i reckon yeh Brisbane will go alright in the top end but away from home i think thrashings will be as regular as North-Kampton trams, and consequntly so too will low scores for Z. Yeh the little blokes a long way from retirement, which means he is so too from consistent scores

I've had the fortune of retiring to the South West of this nation which means i get to more than a few Sandgroper games of either persuasion, and on many occasion, I've witnessed young Hilly counting blades of grass with only his shadow as company.

Son I don't think you know much about this Dreamteam. By the looks of things nor does this flower girl. Fyfe when he becomes his Brownlow form again will then get tagged. But I agree with you Blue, that he is more "impact". He will have his little highlights here and there. Barlow and Mundy on the other hand are part of the teams life force. Shut them down and Freo go in cardiopulmonary arrest. As for upgrading young Zorko, bloody kid reminds me of someone I had served with, absolute gun, you make another well rounded point. Chappy is playing for his career (although they all are) but more sore a continued career. But this little whipper is going to be as mad as a meat ax because of his last effort. I say watch Zorko, he will develop.

You are speaking little truth. Before I got shipped away, I watched as much football as I could, because little did I know I was going away for some time. When I came back, first thing me and Shelia did was sit down with a tinnie and turn the box on. I noticed players themselves being their worst nightmares. Barlow doesn't need a tag, he sabotages himself - example; Dustin Martin. Kid can rake in the possessions then just completely disappear out of the game. B & M don't need any tags. Fyfe needs the tag if anything. Little whipper can change games like no tomorrow.[/quote]

Barlow does not have elite disposal, Mundy is better, which is why he would get tagged over Barlow, but Hill and Fyfe are more important to shut down, Hill isn freos best kick and fyfe with his unique skills by hand foot and especially marking means if you keep close to him he is less damaging

I like how you go and say Judd has elite ball handling skills. All I have seen is him choking and ripping some poor fellas arm up, my beloved Leigh Adams. He is a joke now. Malthouse saw that in him too. But rest of your argument is slightly valid. Barlow is better than Mundy, but placing a tag on them/him is pointless. Yeah they can get possession but they get the cheap possession, their possessions are cheaper then the woman in Laos. So coaches would be wasting their time and effort.

your spot on with Juddies elite ball handling skills. I guess I'll have to take your word for it on Hill and Fyfe's tag rates and Barlow's alleged freedom as it has been a little while since I got down to a freo game, now that retirements hit - I'll be sure to have a look next time I'm in my sons seats.

Bergers had such limited game time, i'd wait until he shows he's going to get TOG. I rejigged my team to start with McEvoy. Not that he was any great shakes last week though.

Despite my fairly low score of the round of 1891, Im fairly happy with my team even though I'm a bit below the average. Will still be making two trades this week as I had quite a few underperforming premiums (Greene, Danger, Zorko etc). A few of my other premiums scored a bit below what I was expecting, but not to the same degree as those listed above.

Will be focussing my trades this week on getting rid of the ultimate pre-season troll Greene and downgrading Whitfield to the likes of Jones, freeing up enough cash for me to go Smith > Goldstein/Kreuzer next week. Gives me another week of information on those two

Did Dangerfield become a dud overnight?
I even read Goddard being thrown in as a potential trade. The guys only averaged 90+ every year for as long as I can remember and this is my 10th year of DT.

I personally wouldn't be considering Leuey for a while either. No preseason hardly and if you look back at history it tells us that he will struggle big time for a while.

Me, Im considering a mid rook trade. Thinking Whitfield to Viney which is what I had up until a week before round 1. May have got a bit sucked in with thinking that Whitfield outside mid hard running will mean big points. Still may but the $70k is a tasty sounding burger and he should general decent cash.
