Any trade made during rolling lockout is permanent I believe..
So far in his career he has not been tested by the stoppers...people assume guys like Boak or Ebert would get the tag but this is just not how footy works at top level these days. The targets are the playmakers, not even the best clearance players nor the distributors. Dal Santo for instance has spent the better part of his career copping the hard tag...i expect Mundy to also start getting it big time at freo if they stay top 4 and he steps up consistently this season. The better the ball players get the more they cop...few cope well.
To me Hartlett had the potential to be a 110+ back this yr...but if i didnt already have him i wouldnt be basing anything on that game v the dees. He got 120 odd and was hardly even run with....better he gets the more attention he'll get and i'll be expecting some shockers...especially being in a mob that may only scrape 5-6 wins.
Playing Port this week already i would be targetting Hartlett...i dont care about Boak or Ebert coz they arnt the potential damage to me. Its just a waiting game to see how he copes with it...and a bit early to suddenly jump on him basis a 120pt game against witches hats. The bloke also has a history of being a bit of a tampon. There's plenty of risk involved with him but i weighed that up and still made sense so picked him..different story if i didnt have him right now. Heppell for instance would seem far safer option for even less at this point of the season. There are plenty.
....was only worth 110 pts difference in one game.I'm not yet sold on Monfries.
Strongly considering ditching Roughy before today's game.... I don't like the Hawks playing Bailey and Hale... Really limits Roughead's scoring potential :/
Rough -> JJK (+250k) or Bartel/Chappy maybe even Lewis/Cyril
Thoughts? I don't like sideway trades especially premium ones, but I really don't like this situation. I'll persist with Duffield and Zorko, they should come good but I'm not sure abuot Roughy as a KPF.
Yeah I decided to stick with Rough! I'll just see how he goes today then reassessNot worth the trade. How long will Bailey last? Only a matter of time b4 he picks up an injury.
My team is doing pretty bad so far, had Karnezis, Viney, Wines on the field
Neade, Jaegar, Crouch on the bench
Zorko didn't go too well same can be said for Rich. Not too happy hahaFelt the same traded for Rockliff. Doubt ill regret it.Strongly considering ditching Roughy before today's game.... I don't like the Hawks playing Bailey and Hale... Really limits Roughead's scoring potential :/

Que Dal Santo to rip it up against GWS next week.Roughy or Hawkins for Monfries and then a badass upgrade of Dal Santo to Watson.![]()
