Broughton>>>Kennedy.

I have almost pushed the button several times and still think i will thoughts ? The other i have been thinking about is Sipposs. I just really don't like any of the 450-500k forwards.

No reason to keep Broughton, injured and overpriced... get rid of him to anyone!

There must be, because you've got Dangerfield in your team when you could have afforded Pendlebury. All I'm saying is there must be a reason you picked Dangerfield ahead of Pendlebury to begin with and you shouldn't change your mind based on one week where Dangerfield had a hard tag and Pendlebury was pretty much allowed to do as he pleased.

It was simply a brain fade. Was in the final few days and team wasnt ready so put dangerfield in there, not realising i could have afforded pendlebury.

Trade is not based on last weeks performance, more correcting something i should have done before rd1 started and that i expect the difference in weekly averages to be 20-30+ each week.

Pendles may average more, but it wont be 20-30.

LeCras > Kennedy
Bliclavs > Looey or should I hold that for a week? Would mean Cox to play permanently forward until I need him

Bliclavs is a good chance to make first price rise so should keep him until then. Reckon Luenburger will be quite, could price drop before he regains touch and form.

Everyone needs to chill out and just allow their players another week or 2 to get it right. Those who had Dangerfield, persist. Adelaide have a fairly good draw he will get back to his best. Essendon have great taggers just remember that, they get under the skin of all great midfielders.
For those who picked Buddy, you guys shot yourselves in the foot. If you were had any idea about Supercoach you would know 1. That fowards never score consitantly 2. Hawthorn have one of the toughest draws first up 3. Your way better off going for a midfielder in your foward 4.600k to waste on Franklin? Really? I wouldn't even have him in my team at 450k and again because you try to avoid fowards and lean towards players who will spend more time in the midfield/up the ground.
Only people who should be trading this week are those who are injured or players who will not play and don't look like getting a game. I'm hoping Crouch gets a game, and he should considering Adelaide's terrible start. But he is another one to hang onto, he is a quality player and it won't take long for him to crack into the team.

Everyone said this last year with Hawthorn's tough early draw and iirc he tore it up early on. Having said that, this is the first year I haven't had him my team for about 4 years, not because of their fixture and not because of him not signing. I just don't think he's going to have a particularly good year compared to the past. I'm glad I didn't now considering I have Roughie too. I know it's only 1 round in but Roughie looked very ordinary.

I thought he was easily the best ruck / forward in the comp. until he popped his achilles a couple of years ago. Not even near it now.

Glad I kept Terlich. Is everyone jumping back on the Looey train?

Not yet, he would have to have a few strong performances for me to trade one of Jacobs/Griffin.

Roughy scored terribly due to the fact he rarely played in the ruck which is where he does his best scoring. Playing Max Bailey and Hale pretty much forces Roughy to play permanent KPP and he was pretty shoddy at that. I think once Clarko wises up to the fact that three ruckmen don't work (We see it happen to North and whenever Hawthorn does it it's a bust) then he will go back to his best scoring.

Walker is tempting me to blow my 100k spare but I feel uneasy knowing that I don't have any money to fall back on in tough times. Basically LeCras > Kennedy/Walker. Walker looks like high risk high reward but I'm not sure if he will keep that HBF position. Any Carlton fans got insight on this?

If Pendles needs to average at least 5 more than Dangerfeild for the trade to make any difference (since he is already 100 points ahead). I have dangerfeild right now and there is no way I'm doing that trade...

whilst the hawks play 4 talls (Bailey, Hale, Ruffy and Buddy) scoring across all 4 will suffer slightly - IMHO

Obviously not a blues fan but i would say once Scotland returns Walker will find himself in his usual forward role. Probably even as soon as this coming Sunday against the pies as with betts, Hampson and Waite all out they will need goals from somewhere. I just hope everyone doesnt get caught out chasing last weeks points from Walker only left short changed when he plays alot more fwd from now on

if your rookies are right wait a week to find out, If Rowe and SPUDBOLT perform poorly again, with Waite still injured, someone will have to go forward... (walker maybe, Kreuzer maybe or Hampson coming back) - I'd wait a round and gauge how goes against the pies based on which possie he plays

I'm sure that if the 100 point discrepancy was in Dangerfield's favour you'd still be bringing in Pendles right?... I believe you. :rolleyes:

You're obviously doubting your decision and are coming on here to get the confirmation you desire. Just make the trade and be done with it.

I wouldn't. If I made that trade, it would be an absolute certainty that Dangerfield would score more than Pendlebury this week.

I think when considering a sideways trade, it really boils down to one question: would you stake your life on the new player averaging more than the incumbent for the season (without factoring in injuries)? If not, you shouldn't make the trade. And, at this stage, I don't think you can guarantee that Pendlebury will average more than Dangerfield this season.

Supercoach is serious business.:cool: :D

LeCras to who?
I have Kennedy...

Also thinking of swapping Vlastuin out for another rookie who's playing. I would wait until next week, but may need the 2 trades next week, just giving 1 or 2 other players another week to see how the shape up.

Monfries or Siposs are probably the best 2 options around that price.

What are people's thoughts on trading Robinson, do you think he will get the vest and will the concussion affect his scores. I'm really tempted to trade.

i've done it...

Franklin -> Kennedy
newman -> Gibbs

huge gamble. now i just sit back and watch it backfire tonight with newman pulling out a 110 and sunday pulls 125.
