If Essendon win they will go 2-0 however if they lose they will be 1-1. Melbourne will go either 1-1 if a win occurs or 0-2 if they don't get up. Finally, there is of course the option of the unlikely draw.

And if Jack Watts gets 52 points he will have a total of 100 in Supercoach for 2013, which is a three digit number.
Likewise if he only gets 51 points he will have a total of only 99, which is only two digits, the same length as his first round score.

It would also result in approximately 24,910 trades next week removing Jack from their supercoach sides.

Yeah... still like the idea of us winning 2-0 though. Seems achievable within the limits of our attacking prowess at present :p

People we are here to talk about this weeks game, lets do that. If you want to discuss matters pertaining to player opinion in the public feel free to start a thread.

So what are the chances of round one being an abberation and the 'intensity' and 'urgency' we have apparently been showing on the track being translated to game day? Would love to see us win the tackle count/ pressure acts when getting belted. Or just one player run until they spew, a la jobe watson or lenny hayes. Too much to ask?

Hmmm, couldn't resist $7.50 on SuperTAB for the Melbourne win under 39.5. I'm kidding myself, but I reckon that's pretty good value given the history. Also got a little on at $41 for +39.5 :)

Just something I noted from training this morning that could be seen in the game tomorrow, Jeremy Howe was training with the midfield. Hope I see more of that tomorrow night, would be great :thumbsu:

how was training?

Reasonable. Still a couple of skill errors, also they had a drill where they had to go from defense to attack, when they went through the corridor they looked a whole lot better than down the line. It was light, as you would expect the day before a game, Craigy went over, said g'day, Don McLardy was there, Robbo was there, David King was there (dunno why), as was Fox Sports journo Neroli Meadows (yum yum :thumbsu: ) Fair few there after the events of the week :thumbsu:

Why? He's better up forward.
I wouldn't mind seeing Howe play more in the midfield. Probably more in tandem with Sylvia, swapping every so often. Howie went missing last week so I'd like to see him injected somewhat into the game.

A tortoise with rigamortis would have smashed us in the centre last week so any change is worth a look.

good luck chaps. Nice night for it. Getting a touch nervous given the track record.

Disappointed at the lack of rain to be honest. Helped us out last year :P
