Why Adelaide Oval?
Originally we were meant to play Adelaide at AO in round 20. When they've updated the fixture online for round 19 they've probably just switched the teams around and left the other details as they were until they could be confirmed.

Speed can mask a lot of deficiencies..

We really need to see Seamus and Saunders into the side before the end of the season.

How have we gone from having speedy wingers in successful periods to rolling out Howe Sheils and others on the wings?

I don't get it. We just seem to pick our 22 players most able to cope at AFL level then put them into positions. Time to pick the side based on who they think has the highest ceiling per position...within reason of course.

Nailed it. The irony is that Sheils and Howe are our best defensive midfielders yet we keep rolling out the same midfield who get decent numbers (and are often named in the best, go figure) but are unable to stop their opponent. 20-odd possessions and a few clearances and you get named in the best when your opponent is top few on the ground? Does not make sense.

Good argument - I tend to think we just lack depth around the ball. Our rotation and 3rd - 5th best mids (Newk?) are pretty raw.
