Would’ve loved to see mally come back in for a proper run at home to just give us something at the feet of the F50 entries. Gross been knocking the door down too and still can’t get a look, doesn’t help there was no wafl last week but I guess he could’ve had 40 touches and still not feature in the 1s
Would love to be a fly on the wall in match committee and laugh at all the decisions. Good to see Elijah back and Arch + Jobe as the key targets yes please

Comparing to my post game changes.
Owies survives, somehow.
Brock for Bazzo was a structural change not due to form, as I think Freo stretch us up forward, but I’m fine enough with it not being made.
TK never getting dropped going into the buzz saw of Freo’s mid/ruck combo, but in a world where Jack Graham plays he surely isn’t near the side yet.
No Gross. No Champion. No Grego debut as a Hail Mary.
Individually defensible? Sure. Thoroughly underwhelming. Yep.

Match committee seem oblivious to the fact that we didn't miss him at all. In fact - arguably played better without him.

It makes sense if you have a mindset of "we must have some senior players", which is clearly the case for the match committee.
I guess they are backing in the group to bounce back after a poor outing.
Owies and Kelly retained due to a lack of experience. Blame Jack Graham (or the AFLs heavy handed approach to name calling..).
Pettrucelle has played his last game for the Eagles you'd assume.
Keen to see if Reid and Shanahan can show a bit as a tandem - playing them alongside Snake in 2026 would have to be Plan A at this stage.
