Duffy is safe. Stevie likes to knee taggers and defenders. No fear that Duffy will be either of them.I just hope it doesn't hurt that much when you are kneed by your idol...

I hope it feels exactly like a 2013 final to you.I don't know why I'm feeling this.
Never have before in a H&A game.
This feels like a final to me.
I'd actually prefer that feeling be delivered as it was in 2013.I hope it feels exactly like a 2013 final to you.

What - you didn't see Fisher last week then Kram? That maggot awarded 12 frees for the game......... every one of them to Carlton including the three shockers given to Murphy. Fact!![]()
2nd worst umpire after that Nicholls idiot.
There is no such thing as a 'new' Fyfe. There is only one Fyfe.
Cletus is a handy player. And I'm pretty sure Duffy is a fan if his.
Oi !I hope it feels exactly like a 2013 final to you.

Fair. Now that's a word we'll be hearing a lot today. Is it fair that their scragger is tagging our scragger and we're trying to get him to stop by scragging him? It's a vexed question.Oi !
That's not fair !![]()

Yeah it'll be fair if you kick 6 goals, but no moreFWIW. I have no problem with Crowley. I reckon he's bloody good at what he does.
Players need to find a way through it.
It will be fair if I get to see Kersten kick 4 tonight.
And for Motlop to kick 2 bananas on the run![]()

ha ha. Yeah that's the thing. I'm happy for balla and Pav to kick 6 between them if we win because I like the way they get their goals. It's entertaining.Yeah it'll be fair if you kick 6 goals, but no more![]()
Silvagni Johnson ,dawson and Mcpharlin all played in the qualifying final last year as well as Pavlich and we won so I think if they are all fit to go RTB will play the same line up . Only Walters missing from that line up and Sheridan was the sub .
Kersten can kick all of geelong's goals if he kicks 4 & motlop can kick 2 bananas (thank goodness u didn't call them checksides) but they will be straight to us in our forwardlineFWIW. I have no problem with Crowley. I reckon he's bloody good at what he does.

Nah, he was a late omission for McPharlin.Silvagni Johnson ,dawson and Mcpharlin all played in the qualifying final last year as well as Pavlich and we won so I think if they are all fit to go RTB will play the same line up . Only Walters missing from that line up and Sheridan was the sub .
Wow... not so long ago the unholy triumvirate were margetts, farmer and nicholls.
Dunno if pannell is really evil enough to sit in with that company. No argument on fisher.
I watched the replay on Fox today and he was on the ground .Nah, he was a late omission for McPharlin.

Silvagni played in the 2012 final against Geelong too from memory.
Yeah he's a creature of habit with structure..., but I'm curious about these ins.
I haven't seen much of Duffy at Peel, but I'm curious as to just how quick he is. I've wanted more closing speed around the ground for ages now and both croz and Duffy are supposedly pretty quick (haven't seen croz run down too many times). Both are half forward types to my mind, with croz being most damaging on a forward wing.
Duffy however is a hard player for me to pin down. He seems to have this knack for being invisible.
I admit I haven't seen him play very much, but In the games I've seen, he seems to be pretty good at losing his man, finding space, pouncing on the ball from out of nowhere and jagging a goal somehow given barely half a chance... which might make him quite damaging in a forward pocket. He doesn't strike me as being particularly fast or classy with the ball, but he somehow finds it up forward and kicks goals fairly regularly.
He doesn't strike me as having x-factor... It's more like a '...hey, WTF - where did that come from??' factor.
Duffy won't set the world alight on saturday, but he may surprise many. I have a hunch we still might see a few more experiments happening up forward.
Anyone who's better informed on Duffy care to comment? Is that how he plays, or do I have a warped perspective from only seeing him play a few times?
