big leap from gibcus, but still looks super cautious when rising

Was at the game tonight and watched him closely, it got beaten a fair bit and looked very slow. Still has leap but struggling with pace. He does look quite a lot bigger then when I last saw him so maybe growing into his body…hopefully but looked miles off it.

Agree with Gibbo looks miles off afl. Pace concerns me but not as much as his kicking it is in Blight territory.
Mutaz is by far the best defender in our vfl team.
Grilj looks fantastic

You know whats sad, our VFL side has gained most of their wins off the back of our non AFL listed players. That is a giant red flag

yes and no. It’s more due to injuries recently but Kozi was bog by a mile yesterday.

Blight/young/Grey (and El Nour) have been rocks in defence most of the year. Sonsie and McAuliffe were basically bog every time they played. Hotton was excellent in his 2 games too.

We just haven’t been able to put together a consistent midfield group out there which really hurts and we’ve been lucky that Scott, Street and Wilson have held it together.

Oh and were desperate for a ruck and we haven’t really had a forward dominate.

Tbh I barely noticed Grjl, has some toe and looks a goer but not a top 5 pick for mine

But then I suppose some people were saying that about NWM? Sometimes you just can’t project how well(or poorly) someone will take to an afl environment.
