5. Nic Naitanui - beat Grundy convincingly. Smashed him in the ruck and clearances. Grundy legitimately only won one hit out against Naitanui in the second half. Only West Coast player to win his position.
Caveat: No other player deserves votes from today's game. However, to make my votes count.
4. Elliot Yeo - tried hard at the contest.
3. Jake Waterman - Good link up with some brain fades.
2. Harry Edwards - didn't get beat much.
1. Jamie Cripps - selfish as all get-out but at least hit the score board.

No honourable mentions.

5. Nic Naitanui - gave a s**t, I suppose
4. Jake Waterman - should stay in with Allen rested next week
3. Harry Edwards - sound enough, I guess
2. Jamie Cripps - finished well
1. Jack Petruccelle - we lost, so it's kind of tradition at this point

5. Nic average game but our only 100% competitor. He is our only leader.
4. Yoe not good but was agressive
3. Cripps only forward that ran for 4 qtrs
2. Gaff ran all day - the only one other than Cripps
1. There were no contenders

The only positive was the lockout so Hurns family were not present

5. Naitanui - Caught out once but beat Grundy overall
4. Cole - Had that poor moment very late on but actually defended well/tried to launch a few plays
3. Edwards - Didn't get beat much and looked to take the game on
2. Cripps - Kicked some goals?
1. Waterman - Those brain fades were frustrating but at least ran out the game

Midfielders getting no votes from me today

Love Nic and he's had a great, worthy of AA year, but no way he's getting votes today. His direct opponent was the best man on the ground. The blinkers we have for this as supporters is mind boggling.

Grundy has unable to compete with Naitanui in the ruck, at all.
He was well beaten in his actual role he was supposed to play. Stat padding in other aspects does not make up for that.
