Because he has been tried many times already and failed.

I would have preferred him to stay in VFL for a longer stint and give someone else a chance.

Plus those numbers are hardly dominant, but are decent yes I agree.

He's 20 years old and played less than 50 games. I'll gladly give him some time and wait till he's not playing for th worst team since Fitzroy before making judgement.

I know mahony cops it in here but this is probably the perfect game for him. It'll be an open game with a lot of space and we are playing an attacking brand of football now. He's earned another shot at it so let's see how he goes.

We definitely didn't do him any favours with Noble football.

Personally I would have persisted with Spicer. I know he hasn't done much but you could tell he was growing in confidence.

Death, taxes, and North letting the oppositions best mid do as he pleases (besides that one brief period we had Jacobs).

At least we don't have to deal with Tippa. That's one small victory.

We played well against Collingwood & Richmond with small forwards. You can’t drop Spicer without bringing in one IMO. Now that PC has announced himself, Mahony & Spice man need to battle it out for that other spot. That means when one plays well at VFL level and another plays poor at AFL level, you make the change. It’s called integrity at selection. Ford is not a small forward.
