Finally we see Jeffrey make his debut - after kicking 9 goals in the 2's you simply could not deny the man a debut after that effort.

Smith is going to get a touch up from Gawn and Jackson. Lord help us.

I would have preferred Moyle but you can't throw him in against Gawn in his debut. That's just cruel.

as much as it pains me to say it, we need smith against gawn and jackson

Demons are a tall team so makes sense to add the tall timber of Jeffrey and Smith at the expense of the smaller Atkins, Rankine.
Farrar is the interesting cause he pace and height would have been an asset even with Markov playing

Our lack of height was really exposed in the second half against Brisbane last week when McInerny, Andrews and Daniher (all over 200cm) began to dominate the game. We've obviously tried to address that this week:

Caleb Graham 195cm > Zac Smith 206cm
Izak Rankine 179cm > Joel Jeffrey 192cm
Oleg Markov 188cm > Jy Farrar 191cm
