Out: Owies -> In: Newton
Out: H.Reid (inj) -> In: Gross
Out: A.Reid -> In: J.Williams

If Duggan is injured then I'd give Grego a debut. If Edwards is fit then leave out Brock.

I actually think Hunt will come back in for extra run.

Plus v his old side

He was decent today.

Maybe...

in: Hunt, Gross
out: Harley, Owies
Why would you bother bringing Hunt back rather than give a game to Johnston, Newton, Grego...any developing player?

What would be the point?

Because McQualter has shown he wants a mix of senior guys and youth.

HJ and Grego were pretty ineffective today and yeah Id love to see Newton in, he's a chance for sure

Just reckon under the Dome Hunts run and experience could help that's all.

I agree 100% about play the kid and have wanted it all year but we never go full yoof

No chance a cork is keeping Duggan out of the side if they didn't even sub him off for it. Half suspect Hedwards could have played and a weeks rest would be enough but agree we should give it a week to be sure. I like the idea in theory of playing Shannahan every week until the end of the season but in this instance I feel like he might actually benefit from a week off, no reflection on his potential I just feel he's likely struggling now after 5 weeks at FF in his first season. Freshen him up before the footy gods take him from us the traditional way with an injury. Owies has earned himself a break for sure because we have options bellow him but really as McWalter said this really was his first objectively poor game outside of his goal kicking. Owies converting at 33% Cripps at 44% [suprisingly passable at AFL level actually] and the new kid has the yips, he's not being dropped for that, and Cripps during his post injury slump got into the 3rd qtr on 4 possessions at least once so he's a little unfortunate. Keen to reward Newton though. Also never been a better time to debut big Coen, and again sorry Jobe. Cripps past 2 weeks have been good from an effort perspective, he's gone up a level [I imagine because that contract hasn't materialised] so I think persist with him higher up the ground on the wing. Hutch is not a wingman and Mini has shown he's not going to give him a chance in the CBA's so how about playing him in his position at half forward for the rest of the year? Reid out for Gross the obvious one. Hough needs to go back and do a job on Kosi. Baker to the guts, we can win this one need one of his turbo first qtrs.

In: Grossman, Newton, Livingstone.
Out: H Reid, Owies, Shannahan.

F: Newton, Bailey Williams, Ryan
HF: Hutchinson, A Reid, Brockman
R: Maric, Kelly, Dewar
HB: Ginbey, Brock, McCarty
B:Hough, Bazzo, Duggman
Fol: Flynn, Gross, Baker
Int: Hewett, Hall, Cripps, Livingstone
Sub: Tommy Cole.

Outside of COVID, that is the worst Eagles side I've ever seen.

HEdwards no chance coming back in?
If you ping a hammy in the pre game, I would say 100% not playing the following week. It surprises me some here are suggesting he will be an IN for this week.
A hammy is min 2 week injury and I cant see us taking undue risk with one of our more important players with only dead rubbers remaining. Good chance they put him on ice for the season I think.
