De Goey's a big key for Collingwood if they're going to win it this year.

Struggling with injury. He sparks them and is their most important player bar Daicos.
Is he injured? Or has he just been in and out of Jail for assaulting women again?

What an amazing performance. McLuggage is just brilliant. Rayner with 9 tackles. Morris is a star and Big Henry has promise. Wilmott is ridiculous and Fletcher has the most upside of anyone on our list.

So very happy that we had that performance in us.

I got caught up in the M1 traffic sh!tfight last Saturday. Arrived 10 minutes into the first quarter. Missed the best bit apparently. Obviously this is the reason we played so badly last Saturday.

It takes mother nature in a bad mood combined with man made screw up to beat the mighty lions in the second half of the season.

Collingwood defended us better than Geelong did. We rarely had to leave the centre corridor even when changing the angles against Geelong. This was far more pronounced last night, in that we had to kick much wider to get the same result.

But yes I guess the principle was the same in the Geelong game, even if the execution was more straightforward.
Different shapes of the grounds would be a factor

Darcy Moore had I think 7 goals kicked on him tonight. Should be enough to get him an AA nomination
yep, he doesn't like the close marking. I still doubt each AA selector watches 9 games each week, and they don't watch 9 games live. They look at stats, that can be misleading, and reputations, so probably gets an undeserved nomination.

Taylor is an absolute lock (yes he had goals kicked on him on Thursday), think Harris is coming good at the right time. Shame Payne injured, think he might have been a smokey for the extended squad. GC going well, so Collins is a chance.
Worrell has to be ahead of Wilkie and or Sicily. Anyway I digress.

One of the highlights was Washy activating beast mode after his awful clanger.

Shows what he is made of. Put his head down and made amends instantly.
How lucky are we to have him. Even better he's got his brother with him who is going to be a weapon too

That pivot by Wilmot from one side to another at 1:25 - you can't teach that, he's darting and weaving through traffic while wrong footing his opponent. He's going to be amazing if we ever release the shackles and let him further up the field. I know he's settled in defense but whenever he comes up the field and does things like that, the prospect of what he could become just looks so scary.

He kicked the goal anyway but Morris not getting a 50m penalty for that shove from Houston after a free kick was a shocker. Some rules for some, different rules for others etc.

And Pendlebury getting away with the pointing to the scoreboard.

i usually don't care about the daicos glaze but hearing lyon say will ashcroft's fourth quarter was a 'daicos like' performance was so annoying.

daicos like fourth quarter is pulling a disappearing act. stop comparing a guy who has a norm smith and is a genuine up and coming star of the competition in his own right to daicos.

The Fox post-match also tried to explain away Daicos’s last quarter by suggesting his teammates failed to bring him into the play.

Unreal.

You have to change things a bit because of the big width difference in Kardinia Park to the MCG
Players adapting which is great

Just finished watching the replay, Reville was really good down back, definitely deserves to hold his spot against the Swans.

I don't think he has played a lot of defence in the VFL, as he gains confidence in the roll his disposal by foot will be a weapon and also take a bit of the heat off Zork's.
