Pretty hard when we have no one who can hit them up on a lead. We may as well get Tom Mitchell back in with the way we just bomb it high into the forward line most of the time.

Adelaide at home is the hardest test in footy and but for Massimo’s brain fade we were within a kick with 5 minutes to go.

We play that level in the next two weeks, we beat the Pies and Lions.

We play Adelaide at the MCG the way we did tonight, we win that game.

We outscored them in the second half, even though we shot ourselves in the foot three times in the last.

That second quarter was a complete collapse. The rest of the game we had them covered. Everything else is just minor details.

My gosh that was frustrating. We played good in the 1st & 3rd quarter but as soon as they got any momentum we couldn’t stop them.

Our midfield is very one dimensional and guys like Moore CMac Nash Morrison & Wiz go missing for large chunks of the game. I’d rather Butler play than CMac or Moore at the moment.

Not sure what to say about Worpel. Some guys find it hard to adapt being the sub but his problem is that this is how he plays when he’s not sub.

Meek was good in patches but got outplayed for a lot of the game and did a perfect tap to Rankine for one of his goals.

Sic Battle Day & Impey were our best.

Hopefully we learn something and get better from it but it was Deja vu from the Freo and Suns games.

Just my opinion, based on what I saw. No killer instinct. No eye of the tiger.

Sam Mitchell should have been actively coaching from the boundary line for the entire fourth quarter, doing everything possible to get his team over the line.

Worpel was horrendous.

A lot of screwing around with handballs when our forward line is pretty elite. Just get it in there quickly.

Missed the entire game unfortunately (kept an eagle eye on the score of course), but is it season over or were there enough signs to think we're not done yet?

We are very much far from done. Super effort for big parts of the game and were right in it up til the last 10 mins. Crows are very very good and we made them look ordinary in patches like not many other sides have.

Not the blow-out predicted by many (ok me included) and the third quarter fight back was really pleasing.
Think it might’ve been diabolical without an in-form Sicily (big positive). Worpel, tried hard once on but disposals were eesh. As for the 4 talls, not enough evidence. Enough evidence that Gunners has to stay in tho.

Really strong at times and good fight overall, especially in the 3rd when I was worried they were gonna steamroll us. We’ve just run the probable premiership favourites pretty close on their home deck.

Sic is back and Day still a week or two off his best. Battle was outstanding. 4 tall forwards didn’t work tonight.

Interestingly we’ve now had narrow leads at 3QT in 3 tough interstate games (this, Gold Coast in Darwin and Freo) and been overrun in the last each time (did beat the Swans in Sydney while the Port game in Adelaide was an abomination). Shows that we’re not far away though in truth it feels to me like we’re not quite in the mix for the flag. Especially as a Top 4 finish is out of reach now.

Cmac is a real worry for me, i just keep waiting for it to click and it just hasn't. He really he is just a bobs up a few times a night and unless he takes all his chances he really is not offering much.

Spot on, but people will say he had 15 touches etc. but he does stuff all with them and never goes in hard when his turn. Has really dropped off from last year.

Few blokes are on thin ice absolutely, where was Moore tonight btw? At least Sicily and Day tried to wrest the momentum back our way but he was nowhere and It's happened in every big game this year IMO, he either needs to take stock at what isn't working and try and rectify it or naybe just maybe he had a year out of the box last year which was his ceiling and what we are getting now is basically the level.
