Beams of the Dayne variety was exceptional, but I thought Taylor was more deserving given he, along with Martin, were the only consistent players across four quarters.

As good as Beams and Rockliff were, Taylor was the one that actually kept us in it in the first quarter when the Suns really should have led by a lot more.

Good game from Stef, Allison showed some things (in front of the sticks excepted). Lester made a decent contribution. I didn't half mind Claye either as much as I was worried I would. Decent player except for what the injuries have done to him, but if he can somehow get back...

I thought Lewy Taylor was best on ground but Beams was pretty darn good. His goal kicking is so bloody good. Shocking first quarter but thankfully we worked our way into the game and got a good win.

Taylor quietly firming for a top 3 B&F finish. I gave him a bit of stick when he was dropped last year for "running in circles", but he's slowly becoming a genuine star.

Brilliant games from Lewy, Beams, Stef and Rocky.

All three key defenders did a lot of really good things, Rich was damaging, Walker took a few beauties, Bastinac quietly went about his business, shame Allison couldn't finish off his work but went well otherwise, Mayes another solid performance down back and then goood work up forward from Barrett and Lester.

After the first quarter was how I expected us to play and it was great to see the execution. Hopefully won't be much longer before we can start doing that to reasonable teams.

Wouldn't have thought so.

As good as his numbers were, I don't think his performance tonight would have been worthy of the gong.

Shame Berry didn't play tonight; now there is a guy that should have had a rising star nom by now that hasn't.

Allison continues to impress and Walker is a beast in our forward line.

Jake Barrett our bargain basement recruit with 3 goals has been a revelation
