Took vc off Treloar , Cripps , Zork , Sammy , Gawn , settle on Ward.
Ironically if i'd taken Wards 96 i would've won all 4.

Season over for me. Jack Steven, Daniel Wells and Dylan Shiel all burnt me, Jack Gunston scored his lowest score of the year (upon further reflection, I should have expected that considering he only scored like 60 last time they met North too). My opponent's comfortably ahead and decided not to take Gawn's 151 as VC. So I've been forced to get exotic and take my captain off Danger, and hope he has a stinker and maybe peg some points back if Rance can have a big day.

Also gunna trade Bartel to Enright and hope I can find something there too.

I'm cooked, but I'm going down swinging.

Almost pulled off a miracle.

It was his 164, Selwood, Bartel and Danger x2
Vs
My Rance x2, Danger, Enright

Enright out scored Bartel 101 to 48, Rance scored 252 as captain, Danger only the 202.

He also had Selwood as well.

Just couldn't get it done, fell short by 61. Gutted!

Ps. I will never pick you again Dylan Shiel. You're undoubtedly a young star of the game, but if there's one thing I've learnt about you from your season in my SC side, it's a) you're a butcher and b) you hardly tackle. See you again never.

Pretty happy with that score.

VC Rocky lead the way and everyone played fairly well without spudding up.

Hall and Shaw were my lowest scorers with 87 and 88.

Won all 3 of my finals this week and 2 were cash league ones (week off in the other 2)
