A good analysis. I would make one change though as I think if Buddy gets rubbed out (quite likely) then McDonald will come in for him instead of McLean.

Hooker needs a spell, I'll back Tippa to turn his form around. Guelfi should never have been dropped to begin with.
With Buddy potentially being rubbed out, probably no need to rush Franga back. Not sure how the twin towers will go together in the forward line, but couldn't be any worse than what we've produced down there on the last few weeks. Walla has a big game, Smith gets his sh*t together from a disciplinary point of view and Parish, Merrett, Shiel & Langers can fire up in the middle, this game is definately not beyond us.

He played forward in the VFL last week, so if he does come in it won’t be in defence.

Also, defence was good last week, kept a team under 10 goals.

It was the other end that killed us and is killing us.

Not enough competing in the forward half.

Outs - Tippa (he just isn’t right) ham, cutler, Zaharakis

Ins - Langford, Bryan, Guelfi, Waterman.

Langford to play his standard role possibly spend more time forward.

Wright to play as a full time forward, Bryan to play FWD/Ruck, and provide another option.

Waterman to come back in a play his role, (was stiff to get dropped, wasn’t getting the scoreboard result, but his effort and intensity is first class, doesn’t lose 1 v 1s

And Guelfi, Mr 1%s stupid selection decision.

Need our better players to bounce back.

The problem with Hooker is he isn’t converting his chances like earlier in the year, he’s kicked 3.7 in the last 3 weeks, if that’s 7.3 then you can forgive his shortcomings without the football.

Francis is no good up forward there’s no point playing him there.

Bryan was drafted as a ruck/forward give him a go or unleash McBridge

Snelling should definitely stay in but it irritates me when he rolls into defence. He is simply not as effective in D50 as up forward. I don’t know if it’s at the coaches’ instruction but he’s pushing too far IMO.
