Ginnivan is looking like a reliable forward option. Henry is very raw, but there’s enough there to persist with him.

Having our prime movers - Grundy, Degoey, Adams and Crisp all being dodgy with the ball in hand is a worry if a team is well organised defensively. They were really well organised and coached - as you'd expect.

In the end, another final margin that flattered us in the end after our opponents flicked off the switch. There was a 10 goal gulf in class and they would have won by at least that if they tried.

Ugly days for Quaynor, Mihocek, McCreery, Cameron, JT, Noble and Mayne. Plenty of senior players lacked the required intent too.

We only seem to play well when there no pressure on us. We play well against teams we aren’t expected to beat, and then only play well when the games over and nothing to lose.. there’s a serious mentality issue with the team

On a number of occasions we’ve gotten belted to shite this season only to come back when our opponent flicks off the switch - Eagles in Perth, Geelong, St Kilda and now Hawthorn today are four examples where the margin seriously flattered us. Unfortunately we’re not as close as the margins often suggest.

I don't understand why Harvey is still being paid money to be an AFL coach. You have several young guys coming into the side in the second half of the year and he's instructing them to play this guns blazing corridor style of footy when they haven't even learnt how to defend yet. Instead of adding onto the layers Buckley tried to employ before he was let go, he's trying to get us to play the finished product and skipping all the steps in between. It's like building a car without the engine, insane.

They are a bogey team for others because for some reason teams allow them to do as they please - get in their faces man to man and forget the zone bullshit. Make them earn every kick and don't allow the backwards clearance and 17 mtr short chip option.
People rave on about brilliant coaching and great team structure but all it really is is other teams being to dumb to force them to earn it.

When you stop us getting easy hit ups coming out of defence, we're stuffed. I think it's simply that the better teams stick with their standard plans and don't change them for us, whereas the battling teams target our style to get a win.
