Give me a piddly Macrae 130 nearly guaranteed every single week of the year please.

I highlighted the bit that exactly explains why he isnt a VC option. Take more risk on VC with someone that has a higher ceiling with Macrae as a damn safe captain option if that fails....

e: And now he's playing Sunday he will probably get the C from me this week.

Cats to massacre GWS on Friday night, Hawkins to kick 7 snags and go 150sc
Hawkins vc
Macrae c

Hawkins struggled to kick 1 against North last week. No way would I VC him

We (the kangas) are the giant killers when it comes to SC. Players like Bont, Danger & Hawkins don't scare us. It's usually the guys 3rd on the depth chart that do. It was either gonna be Guthrie or Menegola that went huge against us... And then there's someone like Josh Bruce to kick 10... or Sam Kerridge to look like the best player of all time!

With all the injuries gws have danger might go huge

Danger is such a kent he could go 170 or 80 he is so hard to read now. I would rather stick with Walsh/Steele/Macrae

Yes that’s true mate, I wonder if Steele will get a tag from Sydney?

I don't think they will tag him the Swans have been backing their mids to win the ball.

Going Touk Touk into Macrea .....although Titch "may" replace Macrae .....going to be close

Surely the only reason they'd pick De Boer is to run with Danger, absolute liability at any other aspect of the game.
De Boer is not a good match up for a Danger tag imo. Could easily stop someone like Guthrie having an influence though

edit: might have had his measure in Rd1 last year but that's on the back of Cats playing late into September and Giants not. If Danger got serious I'd expect him to dismiss a De Boer tag pretty easily. Guthrie would be an easier kill. But then there's Leon the most campaigner of campaigners.....

If the fixtures stay as they are VC Bont, he's due a big one and Essendon don't seem to worry about defending.

Walsh, Piggy, or Steele to back up.
Severe lack of size in that Essendon midfield and Langford going out doesn't help, sort of game Bont should feast, similar to what Danger did earlier in the season.

De Boer always goes to Danger, kept him to 66 in 2019 aswell, fully expect they'll back in a match up that they know works.
If it's a close game Danger will go 120+ whether he's tagged or not. If the Cats smash GWS (probably expected after a short turn-around, location, ladder position) then Danger might take it easy and save some juice for a worthy oppo.
Leon fecks it up either way and the football world is left wondering why the campaigner didn't start/move De Boer on Guthrie, who carves them up the whole game and Cats win by 53.
Tom kicks 7 btw and goes 150 odd sc points
I could be making this up
Where's my nurse

Hawkins or Hall VC.
Macrae C.

Was pretty locked on Hall, but Dimma finally dropped Aarts and Castagna so there might actually be some urgency in the Tigs forward line this week, and Hall might only have 30 uncontested kicks instead of the 40+ he could have banked on having, also not a massive fan of VC/Cing players against the team I support, unless they are a ruckman.

Hawkins against a decimated GWS at home appeals greatly. More of a POD too, need something a bit left field after one of my only PODs in Neale already pulled out this week due to cowardice.

Macrae won't need to breakout of a jog to crack a 130 as a saver anyways.
