Not overly, it just wasn't a super contested game, moved the ball a lot on the outside and he wasn't able to use his strengthes. I still think he can be invaluable at stoppages as he allows Noah and Rowell to be much more offensive, which is something that makes us a lot better.did anyone else feel like Davies took his foot off the pedal this weekend, hope he doesn't lose his spot due to letting down
I felt his role was less of a necessity against Richmond.did anyone else feel like Davies took his foot off the pedal this weekend, hope he doesn't lose his spot due to letting down

In the Brisbane game he was doing a lot of blocking/ making room for Rowell.
Seems more damaging against the big bodied hardened mid fields.
yeah there will be plenty of physicality thereThis is pretty much how I saw it too. Under the circumstances I would have liked to see Alex get more of his own ball - But I expect him to bounce back against Carlton.
Carlton likely to try and send someone to Rowell? Be salivating to see he and Crippa go head to head

looked like he was told NOT to go by foot on the weekend seemed to be handballing when a kick was the obvious optionimo his biggest weakness is disposal.
Suspect he is playing the role they want, help open up the scrum for others. So not too important in the last game, but will need him against Cripps and Hewitt this week.
But too many dump kicks and missed targets will be the issue.
Thats a whole team thing, we are the highest handball team in the league, moving it forward with hands and leg speed has been the mantra since Darwin.looked like he was told NOT to go by foot on the weekend seemed to be handballing when a kick was the obvious option
We’re getting better at it. Against Richmond it was obvious how much better we were at getting numbers around the ball and spreading out to attack.Thats a whole team thing, we are the highest handball team in the league, moving it forward with hands and leg speed has been the mantra since Darwin.
Which is hilarious because the old fella that sits next to me ****ing haaaaates itThats a whole team thing, we are the highest handball team in the league, moving it forward with hands and leg speed has been the mantra since Darwin.
