How serious is Moore's injury?
Both are playing.

Hartley isn't a bad footballer, the issue is that every time he plays we get flogged in the midfield, which means he's under constant duress as a key defender. Even the very best defenders of bygone eras have struggled when the opposition gets a run on in the middleIt worries me Hartley is an emergency, Could Frost or Hartigan be injured?
midfield rotation ofagainst the doggies midfield that is rough
ah well, good exposure for some of the new blokes against the best mid in the comp
Wasn't it announced last year as part of his re-signing?Has Burgoyne officially declared he's retiring at this point ?
A sprained ACL sustained during the game against the Demons. Wasn’t detected until Monday this week, he’s got very, very lucky it wasn’t a full blown ACL.
Surely a wrap for him this year. 2022.He played three games with a sprained ACL? Scary.
I'm surprised too. What's changed since last week except more Covid in Melbourne?? Doesn't make sense.
Managing our guys one week late...will Jaegar and Worpel return or have they been put on ice ?Both are playing.
Worpel and O’Meara are both missing this week.
if Burgoyne plays this week and next week he has 250 hawks games and is he retiring this year,
He's back!!Both are playing.
Worpel and O’Meara are both missing this week.
He missed the first few games due to a busted jaw thanks to a very friendly Max Rooke playing against Geelong in the VFLWould be very appropriate if he finishes his career against the Tigers, too, given they were his first opponents in Hawks' colours - the `Mitchell-tackle game' that rescued our season back in round 8, 2010.
I remember being concerned the Burgoyne trade was a bust when he missed the first 7 rounds, coming off his injury-affected final year at Port. But to the bloke's immense credit, he's barely missed a game since.
Yes and club email for tickets for this weeks game says Tassie farewell for Clarko and SilkHas Burgoyne officially declared he's retiring at this point ?

What's wrong with Jaeger Hodgeball ?
There was no genuine second tier comp for Moore to prove himself in last season. If they wanted to get one last decent look at him before making a call on his future then it had to be at AFL level.Imagine if that mentality was taken into the final rounds of last season and Dylan Moore didn't get his career saving game against Gold Coast in round 23.

Callow now an emergency.Confirmed in the article that Newcombe is in for Worpel. Nothing on O’Meara though.

Some good luck for the number 36. Maybe he’s finally broken the curseA sprained ACL sustained during the game against the Demons. Wasn’t detected until Monday this week, he’s got very, very lucky it wasn’t a full blown ACL.
