Brayshaw out hurts. I think we need a little more experience this week. I really really don't want us to get flogged again by this mob.
As much as we may need ruck support, I think Meek is a liability up forward and the opposition have found it too easy to transition. Acres can be the back-up support for Darcy.
Hughes comes in for Wilson. Bewley comes in for Brayshaw with Blakely playing in the mids. Switta comes in for Western.
Out: Wilson (inj), Brayshaw (susp), Meek, Western

Had it in my head he'd been playing as a defender - if that's the case put him straight into the midfield rotation then.
He had been, you are correct, but he does his best work as a midfielder both for Perth league side last year and for Peel.
Freo were trying to add a bow I imagine, but wing/inside mid is where he looks most comfortable. Especially wing IMO.
Tucker is a lost cause. Give Crowden decent minutes in there and see if he has a future.

Banfield will likely come back in, since he hadn't lost his place after the Geelong and Sydney games, he won't for having been injured early in the next game against Richmond.
Maybe they can give Banfield some midfield minutes, and as our forward 50 is so disfunctional, Switkowski is an automatic into the forward line if his fitness test is passed.
Bewley, Hughes, Watson, Duman, O'Driscoll, Acres and Giro are all that's left to fill the other changes we might make to personnel from last week's starting line up - so there's really not much point in making too many.

Maybe Aish is another that can bolster the midfield with either Hughes, Duman or Watson coming into the backline. Really will be best served by Ryan not having to match up on a WC key position tall.

Just an observation, But to me A.Pearce looks really sore at the moment. To have him back playing is fantastic, but with his history would it not be better to not play him to avoid any risk for the rest of the year. He is too important to be in recovery again for a long period of time and also important he does a full pre-season. We aren't contending currently and he is in our best 22 easily. Thoughts?
That's it we need to stay in the game for at least 2.5 quarters before they decide its all too hard.

How fitting. His last game is the Derby. 28-10 free kick count West Coast’s way. What do the rest think? I’m being generous with 10, but he likes to balance it out in the last quarter.
Please for the love of god, play Banfield in the midfield. At least he smashes and tackles hard. But we all knows Tucker will be in there. Wouldn’t mind Acres or Aish in that rotation. Give them a chance

I would drop Colyer as well ... don't care about his 3 goals as he will be invisible again this week ... but it won't happen.

Agree. It’s ineffective if none of them has tackles nor pressure. Crowden with 1 tackle, Colyer with 2, Schulz as well. That’s 5 tackles between the 3. It’s not working.
It won't happen but given where we are I would like to see Luke Ryan freed up to go to half forward flank and test either Watson or Duman out before the end of season..
