FTFY.

Confidence can be a dangerous commodity in September. It breeds complacency.

Anyone remember the last time Hawks played a final away from the MCG? It was the 2010 elimination final and they were full of confidence and talking about whoever faced them in the semi would be fearing them. They were confident.

I have had time to calm down now, I just want to win this Sunday and then couldn't give a shit about the PA game.

Out - Fyfe, *Mzungu
In - Taberner, *Langdon

*Hopefully, because Mzungu you've been ridiculously shit. Sandilands should be rested, absolutely no need to play him in this match, hopefully Ross sees that too.

Problem is there isn't many options to replace Pearce,
I wouldn't mind seeing Crozier get a chance at the Pearce role or be given more of a link up role up the ground. It's closer to where he plays for Peel and his skills, speed, marking and attack on the ball aren't any worse then Pearce's. Giving Pearce a spot as a crumbing forward might be interesting as well considering the majority of his goals seem to be be crazy snaps out of no where.

Gotta love the Melbourne supporters :)

Out: Fyfe, Mzungu
In: Langdon, Tabs (dependant on weather, if wet one of Clancee, Duff or Grey)

Mzungu hasn't been up to it this season, and doesn't look like improving. We were short a forward on the weekend and Taberner will help in that department.

Awww you missed the best one! I'm pretty immature though.

Melbourne fans are great, and as we'd also know, if you sit through enough shit you develop a very self-deprecating style of humour.
It's funny how quickly things change when a team is consistently successful. I miss the feeling amongst the supporter group in seasons past - when we appreciated the small wins and each other, however long suffering.

That feeling of unity + the team performing well... Too much to ask?

I have a feeling we'll see something like that after the first flag is locked away. While the maiden flag remains elusive we'll probably continue to angst over everything and bitch and moan all the way.

Or turn super arrogant.

I'm not sure what I would prefer.

Well if we all become arrogant then we'll still be united at least! Certain fans will for sure, every championship team ever has those followers, I reckon as a whole we'll remain grounded and humble.

I don't reckon we'd get arrogant. Just be thrilled to finally end all the empty cabinet jokes.

Would like to see Tab back in side, but not sure whether anyone wants to give him their spot , he had a consistent run at it, like big Zac - I'm not sure he will be gifted many more games till he plays more consistent at Peel...think they like what A.Pearce is offering at either end so until he has a stinker I doubt they'll make the change

I'd like to think we'd remain grounded. It's the bandwagoners that will spoil the community - self entitled shits with unreasonable expectations ;)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Time for a new face or two. In Duffield or C Pearce. I would also bring in De Boer if he wasn't already in.
