It's amazing to see people wanting Mzungu gone when most of us (including me) spent the first 2/3 of this year wanting him back in the team and questioning Ross for not playing him.

this says it all. I trust Lyon. he knows this squad back to front. he analyses every game to its back teeth . we are on top for a reason

If your loss makes me angry I can only imagine how you guys are feeling
First quarter was great, then after quarter time everything forward of centre just went to shit
It's not like I can even point to a reason for it happening, you finished great last week, what is going on in their heads that they can't play out games
Apologies if anything thinks I'm pushing buttons but I'm not intending to, I'm genuinely disappointed and perplexed for Freo

Welcome to our world. Here we were thinking that we're the only ones taking crazy pills!!!

It is seriously frustrating and entirely counter logical.

I don't understand the risk of playing PAV one bit.Another two weeks off you'd think would be pretty beneficial to the great man.

Maca can have two weeks off too.
Yep, and Fyfe can rest one of them, and Sandi too. It's All about week 1 of the finals now and has been for a while

Out: Dawson
In: Pavlich, and Alex Pearce goes back.

Mzungu on thin ice, maybe Langdon as an alternative but I doubt it at this time of the season. Crozier is gone as soon as Ballas is fit. Had plenty of chances, but came up short.

Crozier has not been able to make most of any opportunities he has been given this year.He seems to be another forward who struggles to have a score board impact.

We actually only have Walters hitting the score board consistently and he was needed in the mid field for much of the game.

We really need Fyfe to find form before the finals.

We have enough Inside 50's to win the game, but the forward line is a dogs breakfast, and the delivery poor. One player wont consistently improve this team, only as a whole
unit working together can turn our situation around.
Playing two talls in the forward line is a start, and A Pearce can rotate forward/back, at least with two talls competing in the marking contests, we have a chance to bring
the ball to ground and nullify the high ball coming in.
Basic skills errors hurt any team, and some players need to stand up, or move aside, I bet Grey, Ballard would run through a brick wall just to get the chance to pull on
the jumper.

Should we go back to 2 Kpd including Johnson. That should improve our skills a bit.

Not sure that would help with the awful handpasses we seen from Spurr, Sutty and Shero yesterday though.

Geez that was frustrating to watch. You'd think that the players would know not to handpass to the feet of a stationary player about to be swarmed by 2 opponents, particularly when we are right on our defensive 50.

Could Duffield come back in and play a forward role? Could be handy on the forward flank with his marking ability, experience and foot skills into F50

Surely we can include Langdon or Weller if he's fit?
Mzungu needs to be omitted after yesterday's shitfest so I'd like to think one of those young guys will get a game. Langdon has been on the cusp the last couple of weeks so will hopefully get a game

Yes he can...he's softer than butter but we have to accept that unfortunately...we can't keep coughing the ball up

How about D Pearces kick out to one freo player surrounded by four north players? So dumb!

That was Houli all over again!

Out: de Boer, Mzungu
In: Pav (if fit) otherwise Tabs, and give Langdon a taste (Weller's had his, and Blakely injured his ankle didn't he?)

Would love to see another of the Dumb-Arse Brigade Mk II get dropped (looking at DPearce and Suban right now) so Langdon and Weller could both come in, but can't see it happening.

Yeah, the last 3 quarters were like a train wreck. I'm glad that I went to the garden half way through the last quarter.....I have not been that sweary and frustrated for a long time.

From Ross' Presser

Is Pavlich a chance to come back next week?
I’m not sure. At my press conference during the week I was asked that and I said I’m not sure, I’m not overly confident.

He's not playing this week, I'd give him maybe a 10% chance based on that.

Crosier has had plenty of chances to show what he has got and grab a spot.He just hasn't managed it.Sheridan looked totally lost out there Sunday.
De Boer needs game time. They all need to go back to Peel but who comes in.The only available players are Clancee,Duff,Grey and Langdon.
Not a lot to choose from.

Not should we want / need him to. 2 weeks rest will do him the world of good leading into a finals campaign where we need a big performance from him.
