Geez, was going to say, who are you to rain on my parade?

Very happy to pull off the upset Granny win against the Minor Premiers. Small consolation and silver lining to an average season that started off so badly I never properly recovered to where I was in '14.

Won 3 out of 5....not to bad for a 1st year

Carnage of a round - Fyfe, Hodge, Mitchell all out with only 1 trade to use.

Gray, Swan, Martin, Selwood, McDonald, Gibson, Goddard, etc all putting up poor scores.

Yet somehow won the premiership in all leagues!! - including BigFooty Div 5 (funnily enough the bottom 8 runner up even scored more than me).

Dropped to 753rd overall.

Thanks to all who gave advice on here and those who shared Supercoach scores - couldn't have done it without you and you made the year great.

Can't tag on this device but special thanks to the regulars - Jiksa, TheOz, Gingy, hairy lasoo, big booootah, etc (and apologies as I probably asked for advice more than I gave).

See you all in 2016.

Nearly everyone in Div 1 struggled this season, last time I checked (about 2-3 weeks ago) there was only one bloke in the top 300 and the next best was 1100 or so, everyone else was ranked about 1200-12000 IIRC, I'm sitting 5100s currently, season went to shit between rounds 7-11 for me, way too many injuries/underperformers then, carried about 3 unavoidable donuts in that period.

2330 was enough for me to win the granny in a private league.

2320 this week, I won 5/6 Grand Finals and climbed 2596 places this week,
I beat a guy ranked 3k who was in first spot all year, I was in 10th spot the
week before the finals, he's gotta be pissed at that.

I managed to get my team over 13 mil this year, which was one target achieved.

There's not too much to brag about this year though, in my second year.
The Adelaide v Geelong bye weekend killed off my season. I dropped 10k
odd places and never recovered due to only having 12 premos and a
scattering of rookies that week.

I didn't get into the top 10k as planned, it was a strange year though.

Thanks to everyone who added scores, information and for their humour this year
and those who kept the forum a fun place to be its been great having a beer with ya's once again.

See you all in the Big Footy Leagues next year.

Brutal month, I've gone from a season high 363>416>788>1080 first time I've been outside the top 1k since Rd11. Will be lucky to have 22 starters this week. There goes my best ever overall finish.

Maybe do multiple threads top 1000
1001 to 4999 5000- 9999, 10000-14999, 15000- 24999 etc makes it easy to get divisions for next year

I've only been on this site 2 years (and been a BF division captain twice already), but what I can tell you is that Jiska last year and GOAUS! this year have done a fan-bloody-tastic job of setting up the division leagues. As far as I'm concerned, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

What I'm was suggesting is the div captains (well, anyone in their league can do it, provided someone's done the TID list) take a screen shot of the final overall positions for next years reference. I'm happy to kick the thing off next Sunday. For the people who haven't been in a Big Footy league this year and want to be in one next year, it gives them the opportunity to save this years result for next years assignment.

However, such a thread shouldn't be used as a replacement for the official league sign up thread and only a reference. The folks who are reading these posts at this time of year already know (or are about to learn) how to how to get involved in the leagues.

It's easy enough to get the end ranking from the TID's. Will have a gigantic full ladder done up next week. Others who aren't in a BF league can post a screenshot of their final rank and I'll add them to the ladder.
