Given I s$&t the bed and did nothing this week I will likely look at farming my Brisbane spuds (Jansen, Keays) to bring in Dahl and a loophole specialist. Or something else. I'm spending trades that's for damn sure.

Given I was in the same position as you and took the risk it's an interesting comparison point. Overall the one trade of Pendles to rocky would have been better for me (not trading Gray to Sloane) But Sloane was my first choice and Pendles to Sloane would have actually cost me 20 points.

It's really just chance isn't it. But I'm not I'm in any cash leagues and if it all went arse up I'm not losing anything and the risks add some fun to it all (whereas you're a chance at some cash).

I only have 1 trade left and my biggest issue is Birchall. I need to bring someone in that's 457k or less, from what I can see my options are Gibson, Houli, Howe or McVeigh. Not sure who to pick.

My other option is get rid of Hall for Dahlhaus.

He scored 87, he got plenty of the ball though and butchered it a bit so I don't really see the need to get rid of him.

Agree to an extent. But when you're looking at 50pt differentials in your ruck like I am, it's tempting to pull trigger. Esp in an $1800 cashie

It 100% makes sense to do it if you've got a 50 pt increase over 2 weeks (100 pts total).
My hold is to cover any gap between an injured premo and bench if I make it to finals (~50 pts total over bench cover).

Yours is a near guaranteed 100 points and pays off more often then not, but could leave you stranded if you get an injury this week.

Any chance you can wait until Sunday to see if you need to make the trade or not?

That's plan A. Hold till sunday & base a decision on whether I have a pts buffer of some sort.

Rocky in Rocky out would be hilarious for me. After just bringing him in after trading him out in Round 3.
