Felt like last week was the right time given all our backs that were out

Now gets a game likely as sub

A bit puzzling really

Debuting as sub rarely brings out the best in a player. They are so pumped up why not give them a full game!

It's lucky sub use doesn't have a huge impact on the game as we are the wooden spooners at it!

With so little experience in the backline last week, maybe the decision is made not to expose a debutant without significant senior support.

Yeah I didn’t have an issue with the team last week for the most part. Only thing is maybe Beecken in for Bruce considering Bruce is even less experienced in that role but that’s a bit of hindsight and wouldn’t have changed the result

Agree. However he has been playing his best footy the last month or so. I guess it's worth a roll of the dice.

A little ironic given Fages copes some bagging for not making changes. Fingers crossed this is one works out.

It's not like he's a true second year player. Great age and physically strong. Has earned his opportunity and has the ability to make the most of it. Sure, it'll likely be as sub, but think he'll show something when he does get his chance.

Didn’t realise Fages went so hard on the forwards for their lack of intent and pressure last week. Fair enough too. If nothing else I expect the pressure to be a few rungs higher than last week as it will need to be.

I have liked Charlie finally copping his fair whack externally this week too for a poor year. We don’t need 5 goals out of him, although that would be nice, but we do need him to be at his pressuring best. The result will flow off that. Hopefully an external kick up the arse might switch him on in that regard.

This is the problem. Hippies are all about peace and love and let's all just get along, man. Doesn't really work on a footy field, unfortunately. We only get Eric the Angry Hippie about once or twice a season (discussed on here previously: flatmate used all the toilet paper, ran out of milk for his corn-flakes) so hopefully there was something wrong at the hotel or he left his phone charger in Bris or something.

Only 2 other away games I’ve been too have been Fagans first game as coach, 2 pt win in the QCLASH in 2017. And last years SF against the Giants. Hoping for a great win as memorable as the others

I’d be happy if he just plays his role again like he has for the last 5 weeks now. If everyone plays their given role, we win.

Won’t stop the consistent haters hating but that’s really low down on the level of importance scale.
