Just got nothing that makes him better than anyone else and nothing you can see that says 'hey that could really improve in 20 games'
I never minded Terlich he was never gonna be a gun but he would have done a better job than ANB as the defensive forward
Poor ANB will probably be dropped for that and it's not his fault

The only stats that count are the goals column
Great he took a bunch of marks but his goalkicking is a major issue that needs fixing

Hogan has had no real impact for a month or so, I think he has had 3 goal-less games in that time.
Can't drop him, there's no one "better" anyway.

Taking marks is only half the deal. Forwards are meant to kick goals. If they aren't kicking goals it stuffs every thing up. There was a situation in the 3rd where watts missed a sitter. The next attack forward I think it was Tyson, didn't pass to watts in the same spot, decided to take responsibility himself and just absolutely sprayed it. Surely he would of seen kent and watts in space. I think this was the story all day forwards missing goals they should get then everyone starts missing.

dropping hoges would be a smart move, no vfl as injury insurance, he can have the xtra week off to think about his shabby kicking and his future before freshening up and launching into pre season.

I'm pissed off at the selection committee, not Weid, ANB and Michie. It was totally unfair to bring those guys in for a clutch match. Michie and ANB both need a solid block of games in the AFL and to be played in their natural positions. It was just ****ing so stupid to play a skinny tall kid on a day when the weather was forecast to be wet. And did they not think some crumbers would be good in the forward line on a wet day?! Was that meant to be ANB?! How about Kennedy FFS? Or if he wasn't right play ****ing JKH. It's just amateur hour shit week in week out from our selection panel. I'm assuming Roos has final call on the team and if so, I reckon he's ****ed up far more often than got it right over his three years.
