Looking further down the track I assume it'll be Suban, DeBoer and Ibbotson being dropped once Pav, Barlow and Fyfe come back in or do others think that one of Taberner or Crozier could get the axe?

With the way Tabs and Croz have both been playing, nope.

My thinking too. If you bring it then Ross rewards you as the incumbent. We look so much better with these 2 in the forward half.
Tabs with his leading and good ground ball skills and Crozier with pressure acts and opportunistic attacking class.
The only thing missing is a strong marking tall and we have Apeness in the wings.

Those 2 have been a big surprise the last few weeks. Tabs plays his role as well as you could ask. And Crozier's starting to look like a seasoned player. Just out of my best for this week.

Forward line is going to look very potent again if Pav returns next week.

In: Pavlich
Out: De Boer

The only possible other non-injury change could be Morabito coming in for Suban, but I think if Morabito was in our finals plans he would have already been picked. Perhaps Duffy might get another crack? Suban hardly set the world on fire. He did have 9 tackles though so I guess you can say he played his role.

Agree with this; he's our best ball-winning option (punt) at the moment as we looked a little exposed in the midfield, think Mora would come in absolutely firing next week in a last-ditch attempt to be apart of our finals campaign this year.

Sucks that Port get an 8-day break versus out 6-day.

i think Barlow will be back next week.
Outs: Subes and Spurr.
Ins: Pav and Barlow.

As much as I would love Barlow back next week, I would be amazed if he came back after only 1 week out with a broken thumb. Spurr looked injured, but isn't listed as an injury on the game report? Subes & deBoer didn't set the world on fire & if Barlow does somehow play, one of these 2 would be the casualty.

In: Pav, *Barlow (maybe)
Out: Spurr (inj), Subes :(

I hope Mzungu isn't injured. He's been really important especially without Fyfe & Barlow
it looked like cramp. he waved the trainers away and stayed on the field.

Spurr might be okay too, going by Ross's presser. There was also vision of him speaking to a trainer and it looked like he was saying he didn't need the ice on his quad.

As more outs are required, I would have PearceD sitting out ahead of Suban. No surprise there really.

Not a Pearce fan by any means but 3rd quarter aside (certainly not alone there) he was pretty good today, much better than Suban anyway.
