6 of our last 8 games on Sunday afternoon. Gee thanks AFL.

Our remaining 4 games are all on Sunday, none of them on FTA either, well not in WA, even our game against West Coast this Sunday is on a 3 hour delay.

Fittingly Subiaco will be sent out in the worst time slot.
Hodge final game with 2 Vic sides not in the eight. Prime time.

Subi Oval final game with 2 non Vic sides in eight, one on top of ladder. Sunday twilight.

Spot the difference.

Why do they need a floating fixture if they have a week off anyway? AFL is run by simpletons.

I think the AFL still likes the idea of being able to shuffle the games around based on importance or interest to maximise ratings and money.

it's 2.40pm your time and it will be on FTA in WA and SA, what's the issue exactly?

i think his point is that 2 Melbourne based clubs getting a prime time game their don't deserve which has happened far too often over the years.

They may as well do that all year then...

We've always knew it's at skilled stadium when doesn't really matter. Now just have to hope tkts are available and figure out where Geelong is on a map. Believe it's an oval grass surface so we're good, it's at night so I assume they have electricity.

St Kilda's Round 22 & Round 23 games will both be on FTA in Victoria.

It's only not shown in WA due to the whole "show home state teams on FTA every week" part of the TV rights agreement.

Just sick of AFL treating us as 2nd class citizens half the time. They use no imagination trying to use the time difference we have to their advantage, besides sticking the WA teams in the Sunday twilight slot every 2nd week. They know we basically sell the ground out no matter what so don't have to put any effort into fixturing.

4 premiership medals and 2 Norm Smiths

That 110 years of a states footy history means less to the AFL than Luke Hodge?
