Round 23 fixture to be released this week?
Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
Unlike the last few year where Hawthorn has got the shortest break going in? And had to travel West off the short break?
Or when hawthorn got stuffed about because Western Aust teams booked Rugby finals?
How does having the pre-finals bye keep non finalist fans interested for a week longer. Surely it is the opposite.

Thursday Final will be 6th v 7th
They won't do that - supporters need to make travel plans etc. It will be announced soon.I heard that the AFL was going to hold off on it until the end of Round 22 because they want to fixture a game with big finals implications on the Monday Night (likely to be Adelaide v West Coast).
Word is on Adelaide radio that the crows v west coast game will be on the Friday night.
Well that was the only game that could have worked Monday night. Interesting.Word is on Adelaide radio that the crows v west coast game will be on the Friday night.
It would be the first non Vic Friday night H&A game in 11 years
that is disgusting..It would be the first non Vic Friday night H&A game in 11 years
I will believe it when I see it

Average the games out by ladder positions then play 1 game each night from the Thursday of Round 23 til the following Friday, Footy every night before a week off and the highest teams still get the longest breaks.
Perhaps do a split round of sorts at the end of the season, so all the sides that are in the 8 at the time the final round is announced play in the first week (and get their week off before the finals if they still qualify), while sides challenging to steal a finals spot around 8th and the also-rans playing for pride below them play in the second week - it's not ideal, but I think it would be much better than SFA in the final week.
