What an afternoon!

Will go down as one of the best days in the club's history.

That final quarter and post match is one of the best in terms of emotion I have seen for a while in any AFL game. Congratulations to Kizza, Macca, Reg and Nick on fantastic careers and also to Bud and Aliir in their milestones.

Full respect to the Saints for the guard of honour too. Looking forward to the 2020 season. The Bloods culture lives on!

It was surreal to see that much joy, love and support on the players faces..rarely do we get to see them so candid... i know it wasnt the best year and we have our issues...but i couldnt be prouder to support this great club!

This cannot be understated. Huge finish to the season. A great win, a fit buddy, blossoming kids..we have so much to build on next year...cant come quick enough

Could not of scripted the day any better and also to end the year with 2 thumping wins. To see mcveigh and jack kick goals in the last quarter too was just fantastic! Go Bloods!

Perfect way to finish the season. McVeigh and Jack both nabbing goals in a win.

Congrats to Jack, McVeigh, Grundy and Smith for their time at the club, will always be remembered as Premiership players. Lets hope bedford can at least congratulate McVeigh on his career, even if through gritted teeth.

I think he already has in another thread. It was a moving and touching tribute.

Talk about playing to the script. Great that Hannebery was there.

Buddy looked ominous. He's going to annihilate a few full backs next year.

A good win but most of the game it looked like the the Saints were playing to our script too. Horrendous skill errors and goal shooting. But fabulous how we lifted in the last quarter.

A wonderful day for the Bloods, to farewell those past heroes and watch the likes of Dawson, Blakey, Mills, Florent, McCartin, Heeney and the rest who are going to create something special in their era.

Yes re Tommy's game. Copped a knock early but came back strong. Great that his kicking has really improved.

Dawson is comfortably a top 10 player. Easy to forget he has played so few games.

Re menzel... extremely cheap..will likely cost what we will pay a 5th rounder that wont play any way. At best he can contribute at afl level, at worst hes valuable depth in the neafl
