Don’t believe anything Shazza says but if he’s out it’s hardly a surprise. Been expecting it anyway and not overly fussed.

Brisvegas has a home final basically locked in.... win or lose.

They just need to not lose by more than 10 goals.
Hopefully they have seen enough by 3/4 time and ease off the throttle and we cruise to a 4-5 goal win. (of course hopefully we totally outplay them and are dominating fir the whole game and they are not easing up, just getting fisted!!!).

But, they may prefer the scenario of Westcoke for the 1st final, rather than front up against us again, so they need to win for that.

Remember when we were 14 goals up on gc at half time but only won by 92 points, and everyone here said it didn't matter.

That is the difference between hosting Brisbane and traveling to Brisbane if we win today

* me cant be worrying about that s**t.
Remember that time we lost to norf, or the dogs, or got smashed by the cats...

We are losing by 1 point with 10 seconds to go.
Tom Lunch Marks 30m out directly infront.
Kick a goal or kick a point?

If he deliberately kicks a point as it means we play at the MCG can the AFL do anything about it?
Is it not in the spirit of the game and a form of tanking?
The melts would be absolutely delicious

If he deliberately kicks a point th AFL will change the rules next year so that the top 4 teams are drawn out of a hat to see who gets a home game. Not that the AFL are prone to knee jerk reactions or anything

I'm less concerned about Garthwaite replacing Grimes this year than I might have been in 2018. In previous years, Garth has played a man on man defensive role on forwards mostly bigger and quicker than himself. If Dylan is out, I'd see Garth basically taking his place as the side's a sweeper, thereby freeing him up from the one on one contests that inevitably disadvantaged him. Whether Garth has Dylan's skills in reading the play is another question that could be answered this afternoon. Whatever, it's better to have these scenarios play out before finals than during them.

Wanna see Balta get the ball and run! - he’ll be an absolute weapon if he can do it a few times today and playing for his finals spot should be sufficient motivation. Also if grimes is out Garthwaite is about to play the biggest game of his life so hope he stands up to the pressure
