The fact that Cronulla still has a team amazes me.

At least Souths will crack the double figures once we start making a charge towards the 8.

For a team as unbelievably crap as Souths, they do well do average just under 11K. Certainly puts other certain Sydney teams on notice (lets not mention names...).

Decent crowd from the Storm this week. I'm hopeful that after hopefully a big-drawing finals series, we can tip our home averages over 12,500 and then when the the new stadium is built, over 15,000 consistently.

Cronulla sharks are a relatively new team in that they were formed around the 60s and were not a foundation club. in fact many foundation clubs are gone. if they start performing then maybe we will see the people of cronulla/miranda and that area coming to games more often. for most others Toyota park is out of the way. someone who supports parramatta for example has to go all the way down south from parramatta just to get to shark park. also remeber the St George/ Illawarra Dragons draw fans from surrounding areas and have sort of boxed in Cronulla fans and now the sharks changed their name from Cronulla to the Sharks to deal with this issue. therefore people who go for the sharks feel a sense of identity loss :( sad but true
