They are but there's something fitting about the opening round game being played on a Wednesday night in August to end the H&A season.
You couldn't sum up the dumpster fire that is the AFL any better

If the league sticks to that, Rich-Geel at MCG & North-Adel at Marvel will both be on Saturday, and Coll-Melb at the MCG will either be Friday or Sunday.

It's a massive scheduling **** up by the AFL.

Suns have to travel to Adelaide, then get back home for a midweek game while preparing for their first ever finals series on a shorter break compared to every other finalist. If the Suns get done in the first week, you can guarantee it will be a huge story.
