I don't think so. That would mean that Hogan would have received five votes from Kingsley and none from Mitchell, and then I'm not sure that the maths works for Hardwick to also get five votes while Day and Mackenzie each receive six votes.

Thought Hardwick was very solid tonight down forward. He's a hard body and he hits the ball hard on the lead.

I think he's cemented a spot as our leading mid sized forward going forward.

Agree . He is really starting to find his space in the forward line, some of his moves are Dunstall like. Then trots off down deep back in the last minutes of each quarter to stop junk time goals. Love when the oppo backs try and rough up our smalls then Dimma turns up, when they see who it is they slink away from our Hard man Hardwick. Plus he is locked in for 5 more years!

Cannot believe Meek didn't get into the votes.

It was a strange game. Day was the real matchwinner and played two huge quarters. But he had no impact in the first (4 touches) and fourth (1 touch) quarters. He and Meek really turned the game around for us in the second quarter though.

Mackenzie and Watson were probably the most consistent four quarter performers for us. Hardwick dished out some brilliant handballs that set up goals, and played a consistent game too.

That was a fantastic win. Really loving Maginness this year feel like he is making a really valuable contribution with his endless and often unrewarded running and ability still to cool when needed. Finn Callaghan is a star and he put him in the sleeper hold seemingly just to remind himself he could. Really enjoyed that.

I admire how the boys can adjust and tweak their game to suit the conditions. Yes we struggled in the first, but after that the boys worked it out and found another way to win. Also the wind reminded me of older days.

Been offline for a while....my useless belated observations: Great win, sandwiched between low scoring quarters which are worrisome. 3rd quarter into the wind cannot be faulted. That's what we need every quarter every game. Gunnner: Oh yes! Just a bad day out for Chol; everyone else Heads down keep grinding.
