I really expected Visentini to overtake him but now I'm not sure. Vis drops marks too and doesn't seem to get much of it around the ground either. His brother hunts the ball better than him.

Would still rather they had persisted with Vis after the North game against what should have been more gettable opposition.

Can we get a real ruck coach? Matthew Lobbe was a pathetic ruckman, plain and simple. What on earth could he teach? ZERO.

The C-graders of around the time of ‘poor Kenny inherited a list of absolute spuds’ lore — Aaron Young, Sam Gray, Matthew Lobbe, Alipate Carlile, Tom Logan, Paul Stewart, Cameron O’Shea, Jack Hombsch — look like blue chips compared to most of the recruits and picks of the past 5 years.

agree with the miss, however had no problem with the kick style, those round the corner kicks on your own for a small forward should be their bread and butter.

should be dead easy. they would practice those 1000 times.

when your getting 7-10 possies you simply cant miss them.

We have been like this for many years. Partly due to haphazard way we enter I50 and have difficult shots, partly bad set shot goal kicking and partly poor shots on the run.

Whenever we have started the game and have a 5.1 of 8.3 type score line, I say to myself, we are going to start racking up the points now.

When we play away from home we usually rack up points early - 3.6 or go from 4.4 to 4.9 type scoreline.

Racking up points just kills our momentum.

Scoreboard pressure is the best pressure we can put on the opposition. We don't seem to get that through the players thick skulls.

you can almost pick the ones they will miss.. its like clockwork.. when we desperately need a goal you can guarantee the next shot will miss

Tanking is not winning games deliberately when you could have actually won them.
We are not doing that.

We weren’t good enough to beat West Coast and North.
You have to get real pal, this list is not good enough there is no tanking.
Also as much as I’m not a Carr fan there would be no way in the world he would ever throw a match.
The guy is not made that way, he’s all about winning.

Mead's ball use rated at -2.5 for the game and he had 3 kick ins

Farrell's ball use rated at 7.3 (4th highest on the ground) he should be taking every kick in, that he is on the ground for.

Mead in general is a poor kick and has no penetration on his kick. All his kicks in went long down the line to a contest we were destined to lose.

The only kick in he tried to pinpoint went right to a WC player.

And that's where they took the game away.

That was my concern this week, I thought West Coast beat North in the contest and was hard at it. Bring that this week as they did and they were going to be right in it.
