Will Glass beat Pavlich? Is it still raining?

Rawling will tag Mitchell, and Glass is in crap form. I would take Pavlich as skipper.

Yeh got a few other options....
Leaning towards H Shaw
J Brown is a risk playing sydney
My other 2 options I was considering were Cross and Hayes

Rawlings will tag Hodge, kept him to 8 touches or 38SC points last year in the Semi...
Mitchell generally does alright against us because we enjoy contested footy and thats what he enjoys too...
And i think the forecast was for showers on saturday, but probably best finding out from someone in W.A.

Why so few for dal santo? He killed it round 1, with a 130 odd... Then round 2, not the best, still pulled about 95.

I thought about Cox, i just dont know if the big man can pull scores like that all year

I'm probably going for Chad. Rips apart Adelaide.
My smoky could be Hall. Stuggled last year, but still managed 171 (SCG) and 91 (Gabba) against my Lions. And if last week is anything to go by, he could be back.

Tough decision. Might actually go Riewoldt again who's up against the Bulldogs. Or maybe I should pick Dal Santo, Cox or Shaw.

I am going Riewoldt - always plays well against the Bulldogs and set to bounce back after a quiet Round 2 against the Blues.

Shaw - has been up for a couple of weeks, might come back down to earth with a 95 - 105
Cox - showers forecase for Perth on Saturday
Pavlich - see above
Dal Santo - I don't have him but he should pull 100+ if he can beat the tag

Hi just want a little bit of advice on who to appoint captain this week..

here are my theorys..

C.Cornes - will probably play on Goodwin and he is in pretty fine fine, but cornes at home and due for a good game could tear it up??

Dal Santo - Mr. Reliable

Pavlich - Could kick a bag?? But could rain be a factor??

Other options are.. Mcloed, K.Cornes or Milburn (playing Melbourne could play a pivitol role in the backline wall and rack up possies)

What are your thoughts? I'm stumped on this weeks decision..

Cheers! ;)

I'm going the Chad.

I don't think showers will affect Cox or Pavlich. However based on previous years Glass with own Pavlich and Cox struggles against Freo. While Cox is in great form I think he's due for a quieter game.

The Chad on the otherhand always plays well against Adelaide. Adelaide don't really have a match up for him and he could run amok.

So I'm switching from the Cox to the Chad.

Argh... I have had dal santo for the first two rounds... 130 in the first, 95 odd in the second. He was up against the blues solid midfield last week, not sure if the doggies have as much talent running through theirs.

I changed to Cox, but i could end up regretting it. St kilda are playing indoors, looks like WC could be playing in the rain. But Cox is up against sandilands who is in pretty average form.

Thoughts? Advice?

The Blues have a solid midfield with more talent than the dogs?

Judd is hobbling around on one leg, Stevens should be called Straughnie and Gibbs while playing well is still a squib. :) Murphy is currently their only decent midfielder and even then he plays as a forward. Compare that to Cross and West who are in brilliant form, Cooney and Akermanis who will rotate through the midfield and Eagleton coming back. Having said that Dalsanto is usually up and down a little and this could be his up week.

Rain doesn't affect Coxy. However he has a poor record against Freo. I really want to take the punt on him because his form is red hot, however there is a chance he could score under 100 and even under 80. The Chad on the otherhand usually has a field day against Adelaide, he scored 170 odd against them last year and followed up with a 120 odd. Adelaide don't have a match up for the chad.

Carn Chadley!

A Geelong player for captain this week
They will smash Melbourne this week at skilled stadium
Joel Corey for me!

I'm finding my rd3 captain a very tough decision to make.

I've got a choice of -

Chad Cornes - has a good record against adelaide

Cox - in top form but his recent record against freo isnt that flash

Ablett - seems the safest bet against melb

Brad Johnson - I'm worried about stkilda flooding

Pavlich - wet conditions? doubt on glass playing?

Murphy - With Stevens & Judd lacking fitness, he is the no.1 man for the blues and essendon dont tag.

I'm really tempted to go for murphy because the bombers have had a $h!t load of SC points scored against them, but Ablett seems a safer bet. The Chad is also due and I think he will have a big one against the crows.

I'm having a tough time deciding as well.

Initially i was going with Ablett, just because it's Ablett. But then in the paper today it says he may get limited game time because it's going to be a walkover.

So I'm thinking of choosing between these players:
C.Cornes
G.Ablett
H.Shaw
S.Black
D.Cox
N.Riewoldt

At the moment I'm leaning towards H.Shaw
What do you reckon???
