I've narrowed it down to these 4.
Cross is current captain but i'm worried Fisher will tag him. Dal Santo will probably be tagged as well. Chad Cornes plays well against Crows but not sure yet.
Chapman is high risk, could score 180, could score 70. Not really sure.

I was initially going to have Bartell as captain, but Sheedy brought up a good point in saying that Mark Thompon may rest Geelongs midfielders more if the game is sealed early - What are other peoples thoughts on this??

On another note, what about Barry Hall as captain? He has loved Rivalry Round over the past 3 seasons at both the SCG and the Gabba with scores over 160 each time (even 173 last year on an off year for him). Has only had to kick bags of 3-4 as well in these games. Personally I cannot stand him as a player, but looking at his scores he has got me scratching my head!

cross: has a good average against the saints but will he be tagged out?
corey: playing melbourne but so many guns in the team, will he be rested or get more time than others?

Im going Chappy just because Melbourne are hopeless ATM.
And just on the guy that said "Essendon dont tag". We do infact tag, we just didnt tag Geelong because there are too many players to tag. Carlton really only have 2 players we would tag IMO: Judd and Murphy. Going on both their form over the past 2 weeks, I reckon Murphy would get tagged ahead of Judd. Plus, we have brought Peerill into the team, even more reason to suggest someone will be tagged.

sounds silly but alot of people forget the mid ranged players, J.selwood, Mur[hy these types of guys. i have both of these and am seriously considering Selwood as I doubt they will rest him more than the other big name players, as for other contenders, cox is cox has been awesome. and h.shaw always gets plenty of it. will probably go cox as the safe bet.
I think I'm going to let Riewoldt redeem himself.
For those of you with Dal Santo i have a good feeling about him tonight, he is my captain for this week.
Ok, it was out of him and Cross. I'll go with you as your a top 20er...atm haha.

I'm seriously considering him even though only six days ago I swore to never let him toss the coin again. Chad Cornes, Riewoldt, Cross, Shaw are my options.
Hmm personally i would go Cross over Roo, Cross is coming off a good week and I get the feeling Roo may not score huge with G-train and Kosi in the forward line as well...although he was more then exceptable in the first round. But like i said before my guess for Roo is about 110 and i personally hope for 120 from a captain and i think Cross should safely score that.
