Don't think Ling will go to him?

Weighing up Swan v Kornes at the moment...worried about Swan copping Ling and worried about Kornes being told not to get his 30 touches and just quench Jones...

Ling's gone to him in the past & it hasn't drastically effected his scores as it's probably not the tightest type of tag that Ling will put on a player

anyon else worred that cox wont score well agains tthe saints due to no player scoring over 95 against them this year??? only real worry for me as he would be a shoe in
currently got swan as skip still tossing up though with him and cox

Reading all the posts, I'm struggling between CCornes, SFisher, KCornes, CJudd, RGriffen, DCox, DHille, and BDeledio.

I think I'll go with the Cornes boys as C and VC, but not sure which order.

i'm not going coxy on the basis that he will be rooted as king and gardiner double team him.

not many teams have two decent tap ruckmen - so cox will be working double time.

Wouldn't Ling go to Pendles? Or even Didak?
With Swan coming on and off the bench, I'm not sure Ling would be swapping players that often.

Ling has always gone to Swan IIRC. I love the guy but I don't think I'll select him for captaincy this round. Due for a bit of a downer.

Im still unsure on this one. Im leaning towards Chornes, SJ, Ablett or Gibbs - in that order. Chad has the runs on the board against the Dees, but ive got a feeling SJ is gonna chop up tonight. He is in great form atm.

On a side note, I noticed that Chad has scored 6 straight hundreds against the Cats. Would anyone have a longer streak of consecutive 100's against one opponent? Wonder why he carves them so much.

any1 thinking of putting hille captain is dreaming... ratten specifically stated the way they will beat essendon is by concentrating on stopping hille.
ablett for me... coming off an average score, he should be prime for a big thursday night clash, will score 120

What about Richo?

I agree !!!

My choices are Richo, Gibbs, Cox, S.Johnson or C.Cornes.

I know his career average against the Dogs may not be great but he's in a rich vein of form and I don't think the dogs have the height to match him as he roams the ground marking everything in sight.

Could definately be one of his big games with 14-18 marks and that translates to lots of kicks and a massive score even if he doesn't kick goals :D

Otherwise Gibbs against Essendon looks tempting .... Bombers will tag Judd and Murphy before Gibbs so I'm not worried about him being tagged out of it
