Finished on 2071, relatively happy with that after consigning myself to below 2000 after Caddy, Rohan, Zorko and Martin's shit. Seems to be a bit above par from what people have been saying?

After a strong start to the year scored a poor 1919. The weekend started badly when I tried to be smart taking the captaincy off GAJ and put it on Sandilands at the last minute. The extra 120 would have come in handy. Poor scores from Zorko, Lobbe, Martin, Polec and Rohan added to the pain.

2007 in AF was okay, seeing as LeCras, Zorko, Martin, Danger, Mitchell and Caddy didn't exactly cover themselves in glory in the forward line. Other lines all did well. Really hoping Nathan Jones steps it up next week though.

I assume I'm not the only one here who doesn't go with the generic GAJ pick as (c)?

Only wanted one 600k player in my team so I went through my options.

Pendles had Crowley round 1 whilst Ablett had him in round 2 so both may put in a poor score and drop in cash early making it easy if one of my premium mids failed early (I left 100k in the bank).

SJ is prone to the odd really low score and is also the last durable out of the 4 so crossed him off.

So that left me with the "safe" option in Swan. With Ball and Beams fit and the addition of Adams I expected Swan to get a heap of it on the outside... yehnah.

Swan has spudded it up and my other captaincy option in Barlow got injured so Ebert got the gig this week (scored 100 round 1 with Curnow on him and 130 odd last week). He scored 91..

It's amazing how looking into things so too much can backfire at times.
