Scored 2197 and fell down 1707 places to 3259 overall.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::fire::fire::fire:

Not panicking yet though as I know I have a great team and have just traded out O'Meara to Bont. :thumbsu:

Have just been burnt every week by spud rookie scores and a premium letting me down (Shaw last week, Higgins this week)

With Bont in I have all premo scorers in the mids now. No midpriccers or rookies there as Powell-Pepper is now back on the bench. :)

Taranto > Newman my other trade for this week.

Bring on next round....

Round 3 of disaster review

Round Score: 1879
Overall Score: 6088
Round Rank: 130,104
Overall Rank: 90,488 (-32,113)
Team Price: $10,424,000

Positives:
Profits - With this being the first round of changes in price, I gained about 600 thousand dollars to my overall team value with most of the work being done by the rookies.
Andy Otten - While we speak about profits, our main man in Andy Otten gained over 70 thousand this week on his price with the final total being $79,900. With another great performance and job security for him being good. He will be in my squad for a few more weeks yet.
Steele Sidebottom - In the one point win over Sydney, Sidebottom scored yet another 100+ game.

Negatives: (Only limiting to the main 3)
Max Gawn - Unlike the Riewoldt injury which I completely didn't hold him for two weeks, the injury for him was a pain for me as I didn't really want to use a trade on the rucks. With the injury being over two months, he will be my big trade this week.
Orazio Fantasia - After a wonderful two weeks, he came down with a thud and a half with a score of only 30 this week against Carlton but on the + side he did gave me some more money.
Weekend in whole - What can I say, a bad Supercoach round, tipping being crap (3/9) and Hawthorn getting burned by Gold Coast it wasn't a good weekend in AFL standards for me.

Possible Trades:
??? (Rkd) ----> Gawn

Money Left: $105,200
Trades Left: 27

Rubbish week, ended up with 2120 losing all league games.

Let downs: Gawn, Shaw, Laird, O'Meara, Franklin, Hannan.

On field rookies SPS, Otten, Hampton all solid while Parfitt and Barrett on the pine at least look to be making cash for a couple of weeks.

Trades this week:
Gawn>Dusty
Hibbered>Newman

Ranked 155th for the week but would've been (just) inside the top 20 if I started Newman over Marchbank :/

No you wouldn't have.

Because in this parallel universe where you changed your team and started newman over marchbank 200,000 other people could/would have also changed their team too.

We all look forward to your regular contributions

After three solid round without clicking the trade but I'm just outside the top 1,000.

Will be making my first trade/s this week which will at least include bring in Newman.

Quick review of each line..

Went light down back this year as this seemed like the best line for rookies. Wasn't prepared to overpay for Doch as Shaw and so went with Laird and Lloyd and took a punt on Tuohy after his strong JLT form. Laird started huge and Lloyd has been more than solid. Not sure about Tuohy but I'll give him a few more weeks to see if his worth keeping. Hampton, Otten, Marchbank and Stewart are standard picks but I'm happy with how they're going, especially Otten. Might persevere with Hibberd as his dual position status will come in handy.

In the middle my top six have delivered. Danger has been captain each week and is worth every dollar. The selections of Beams and to a lesser extent Steele has worked. O'Meara has been up and down is likely to be the first mid priced to go. SPP and Barrett are making good cash and Pickett is a spud.

Sandiwitts with Cameron as a link to the Nank. Enough said. Nah, would have preferred Preuss over Camereon but the ruck link is a must have.

Up front Nank is leading the likes of Dahl, Buddy and Macrae so I can't complain. Rough is building nicely and DC is my POD loophole. Butler has been excellent and Eddy is doing okay, although would have preferred Houston.

Overall I'm pretty happy but Tuohy and O'Meara are my worst picks. Need to get a premo defender into my team ASAP.

Ranked 57k, slipped 4k. Worst start ever. Same time last year was making my way up inside the top 1000 and I've used the same strategy. This is a cruel game.

Isn't Mofra that deadshit scays supporter? I guess the sun shines on a dog's arse occasionally
Deadshit like a fox...

This is easily my highest ever ranking - I was 495th last week so pretty good climb in round 3.

Ryder about a 1% chance to get off I reckon, so I'm hoping it's only 1 week out
im actually more optimistic tbh.

there doesnt seem to be any conclusive evidence that he connected with Knight's jaw and the sore jaw could have been from the head knock.

But knowing the Crows, they will fudge the medical report to make sure Ryder gets 5 weeks and Knight will play next week
