Flynn isn’t really the type to win the ball around the ground on Gawn though. He’ll lose the HO’s, maybe muster a few touches. I think his ceiling today will be around 60-70.

Hard to say. I haven't taken much notice of the subs in the matches so far but wouldn't they go with some that can play in different parts of the ground instead of a key position player.

1,552/14 (C). Gawn, Oliver, Jordon, Taranto, Stewart, Phillips, Clark, Impey to come. Traded Sharp instead of Bruhn which meant I could only afford Impey, rather than Tex (damn these late team announcements). Still, not too bad.

Traded in Butters yesterday, looks like he's the 2021 version of Rozee, sucked me in with a couple of good scores early and then turns to sh*t.

There's always only a handful of players that score well when their team gets thrashed. Steele and Boak yesterday did well, the rest were poo. We're seeing lots of smashings already, and proper smashings at that, huge difference in disposal numbers, going to cause some major up and down scoring for SCers. Only the genuine Gods like Oliver, Steele, Titch, Macrae, etc will score well even if their teams get battered.

Can't trust form against North. You wouldn't load up on Bruce. I am being a hindsight warrior as i nearly went Butters too.

We're doing our Easter egg hunt tonight after it gets dark because our oldest also couldn't get out of bed this morning and we don't want to be doing separate hunts for each kid. Should be more fun with torches anyway. I might even put a mask on and jump out from behind a hedge and scare the sh*t out of them for teh lolz.

Mine are of the age now where they find that the Easter Bunny has left shit on the kitchen bench and they'll find it when their hangovers will allow them to surface. Still waiting now for them to get up.

Absolutely. Meek v Pittonet at Marvel and he’s pretty solid around the ground as well. Darcy playing majority forward. Bigger reward imo with the same floor of 60+

Butters and Campbell the only real let downs so far. Had Butters from round 1, hes going to be a roller-coaster ride can feel it already.

Could potentially cop a donut down back depending on Kozi but projected to score in the 2200s and win all my H2Hs. Not sure how but I have Dunkley and Ziebell as a POD in every match up. Huge.

Meek wasn't as bad as his score suggests in round one. He used his large frame to take Max out of a number of contests to nullify his tap work. Max didn't score well either. Round two Meek was handily beating Flynn on SC scores until Darcy gave him a chop out then Flynn made ground. Both promising ruckmen but one today doesn't face Gawn.
