Not a great game to watch with a lot of stoppages and more than 50 free kicks. Think our overall fitness allowed us to run over them in the end. Like the AFL side we missed some easy set shots.

Hobbs had another good day out. 27 touches. 9 clearances.7 tackles. Tracking well.
Snelling played a lot more midfield time this week. 29 disposals. 9 tackles . 2 goals. Looks close to his old form.
Hayes had a decent amount of the footy this week. Got beaten in a couple of marking contests but he is coming along okay.
Hind was not as dominant this week. Okay game.
Lord played one of his better games. Used his run better and was more involved.
Montgomerie played well. Thought it was not as good as the previous couple but he is in good form. Could play a role if needed.
Voss played well. Did not kick well at goal with 1.4 and one on the full but I thought he worked a bit harder this week.
Wanganeen had an ankle issue early. Played the game out. Would like to see him getting a bit more of the footy.
McBride. Does not look like he has progressed at this stage. Has shown athletic ability and some scope at times but the improvement is not there.
D'Ambrosio came on after half time. Linked in well enough. Played well. Was hard to get a line on his defense just watching the replay.
Walla. Kicked a couple. Needed the run. Did some good stuff and a bit of walking. Would need another VFL run IMO.
Munkara. Just looks like he has little confidence and at times does not want to get in the way.

Snelling will be pressing to replace Davey this week, looks to be in great form to play that role he did in 2021 again.

Hobbs is a tough one, do we let him keep dominating the VFL until a midfield injury, or do we bring him in to play HFF at AFL level and use his physicality?

The logical role for both is probably the spot Davey is playing in right now.

I would say play him in the VFL for another few so he has had a really good run of great form and then look to slip him in somewhere unless there is an injury.

Snelling’s running power might be nice against Collingwood for Anzac Day is what I’m thinking.
