Western Bulldogs v Brisbane, Docklands, 22pts - yes, the game had started when I got these tips in, but had started Dogs way very early, this is what I would have gone anyway despite doubts over Brisbane in Melbourne

Hawthorn v North Melbourne, York Park, 10pts - post-Perth is always hard, back to back on the road in that, Hawks are bad, North are bad despite the start, venue gives edge to the Hawks even if form should suggest the other
Greater Western Sydney v Carlton, Showgrounds, 41pts - Carlton on a relative flyer, getting that false hope going strong
St Kilda v Essendon, MCG, 19pts - venue experience? I don't have any faith in either side
Port Adelaide v Adelaide, Adelaide Oval, 26pts - Port should be better than they have shown, if not actually decent, maybe the showdown will bring that spark
Gold Coast v Geelong, Carrara, 64pts - Suns to face the wrath if Geelong get a ruin-on at some point, someone is going to pay soon
