Gold Coast will be quite confident against us. Only good game Ablett played last year was vs North too. He always destroys us.
That and the game against the Dogs seem to be the big danger games.

Was that pre Jacobs resurrection? Seem to recall it might have been... will be interesting to see how that goes this time.

If they achieve that it certainly changes the dynamic for North who have made prelim final week last 2 years via an ardous route.

Would put them squarely in the frame of making the GF

Port Adelaide vs. Essendon - by 33pts
St Kilda vs. Collingwood - by 8pts
Richmond vs. Adelaide - by 36pts
Sydney vs. GWS - by 20pts
Gold Coast vs. Carlton - by 41pts
West Coast vs. Fremantle - by 10pts
North Melbourne vs. Melbourne - by 191pts
Western Bulldogs vs. Hawthorn - by 6pts
Geelong vs. Brisbane - by 52pts

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Yes the Dogs are great at home, but remember it is our home ground too. And we have a pretty good record against all comers there. Not that I can actually find what our record is there.

A couple seasons back our record at etihad was the talk of the town as well.
Very similar to how well the Dogs play there at the moment.

We stopped tagging Ablett after half time for some reason lol

That's what you get for insisting on a plan B. Sometimes Plan A is Plan A for a reason. And plan B is, well, what you do when the shit hits the fan...

From the way you word it, you make it sound like you think they have you odds on to be 9-0 at round 9?

Going by those ladbrokes current odds, you're about 6-1, and that's way unders. I'd have it about 12-1.
What do you mean "the way I word it"?
All I've done is post a link to bookies who have us favourites for the first 9 games. It's their opinion, not mine.

Port Adelaide vs. Essendon Power by 7 goals

Gold Coast vs. Carlton Suns by 10+ goals

Only 50/50 is saints/pies

I just meant you wouldn't be favourites (if by favs you mean odds-on) to be 9-0, even though you are favourites in each of those games. At best it's a 7-1 proposition.

We were rated by many "experts" in the media as having the hardest draw of any team. A tough draw was expected after 2 successive prelims.

Frankly though, you don't want to get to the finals on the back of a soft draw and then get found out. Like a couple of teams who didn't progress past the first week last year.
Yeah, man our draw was so great. We'll be better for the run though come September 2016.
