What other MiD rookies should I be looking at?
Currently rookies I have:

DEF: Naughton, Murray, Finlayson, Doedee, Murphy

MiD: Kelly, Holman, Banfield, Brayshaw, Clark

FWD: ZGL, Fritsch, Ryan, D.Fogarty

Naughton to murphy
Bell to mclean
1 forward rookie of fristch or liam ryan
3 mid rookies - kelly holman brayshaw

Or

Naughton to Murphy
Bell to cogz
2 forward rookies from fristch,ryan and garlett
Mid rookies: kelly holman (brayshaw on bench)

Currently leaning towards mclean as he is more chance of a top 8 fwd than cogz a top 10mid
What do you guys think?

In: Danger and Barry/Murphy

Option 2
Out: Crouch and ZGL
In: McLean and Barry

I'm going to be tight for cash Gen now Langdon is out. Have non-playing rookies in Keefe, Ahern and Langdon and Cameron on every line. Need to use trades on more pressing issues, while reserving trades for later.

Honestly hoping Danger does a shoulder or something and scrapes out a 9 or 10 pointer, before coming back a week too early and doing it again. At this point I'll have to wait till after the bye at best otherwise.

That's the problem as the cheaper options are either scoring badly and/or have poor JS. If you trade in Bonner then your mid rookie probably has to be Barry, Garlett, Fogarty(Geel) or O'Connor. I have a big opinion of O'Connor but he was a late inclusion last week so his JS is very shaky. He would allow you to move Finlayson between defence and the midfield though. Bottom line is that it's a risk. Any or all of them could be dropped at any time.

The most rational plans can fall apart when you finally get there and feel what it is like. Otherwise, why would anyone do something as stupid as invest time in supercoach, or marriage?

But yeah, I'm probably holding too. Only after I imaginary trade him out of my team in every conceivable way before lockout :shoutyoldman:

Was going to trade Brayshaw out for Barry this week to hand me $80k and help build bank for Danger.

Is it more worthwhile waiting and week, missing out on Barry and trading Brayshaw after his first price rise to someone like O’Connor, who will be on the bubble (provided he plays this weekend). The other advantage is O’Connor is dual position DEF/MID, allowing me to swing Finlayson if need be.

Does anyone know of Brayshaw’s projected price rise?

$28,500 if he scores his 60 projected
 
Only went Brandon Ellis to Bonner. 298k in the bank. Considered trading Sicily for Naughton to have over 500k to spend, but saving the trades while my team is performing is well seems the better choice. Always run out of trades too early but i've usually made 4 by now. Only 1 so far this season.
 
Is it worth going Hibberd > Shaw instead of Simpson to fund Naughton > Bonner?

If I did swap Hibberd > Simpson my only other option would be to trade Sicily or Lobb down to Bonner and keep about $200k in the kitty
