Hibberd to Bonner
Naughton to Murphy will leave me with $370k

Next week upgrade Armitage to Merritt should leave me around $200k to try and find an upgrade to Danger

Or
Hibberd to Bonner
Armitage to Oliver

Current mids are: Dusty, Titch, JKelly, Cripps,Cogs, Armitage, Tkelly, Holman

Assume you’re swinging Sic to def?

Like it, as long as you’re happy with fielding 2 rookies in the fwd line from now on, which I assume is what you tried to avoid with your starting team

Means you'll have to bench one of Finlayson / Doedee in R4 when Sicily is fit, that'd irritate me, especially when you'd be stretched thin up forward.

Beams > Parker + ZGL > Ryan makes more sense for team balance.

You two both make great points and was exactly the trade off I was making in my head.
The trade you've suggested lets me field a better balanced team, not have an injured rookie, hold an extra 17k, but takes Parker over Oliver. I rate Parker this year but think Oliver is likely to average 5-10 more across the year.

I didn't want to be making such tough calls R2 :(

Given the likelihood I challenge for top 100 this year already looks shot I'll have to play for cash league, and that makes me more likely to take this route...

All week I’ve had my trades locked with Hibbard & Lambert out, but now a day out from games kicking off I suddenly have the urge to keep both even tho Lewis and Vince are stealing hibbards kick in points , what is wrong with me :drunk:

I traded both too... haven't looked back

Please help! Currently stuck and can’t decide which trades to stick with :'(

My current thinking is the following

Crouch > Cogs
Dahl > Heeney

Smart move trading Dahl before Hibberd? Or would you go the other way?

Only rookie I’m missing is Murphy. Any assistance is very much appreciated :)

Would you consider a Danger, Christensen type combo and bank some cash instead? Cogs and Heeney are solid trades though.

He will be coming back in a month or so which is when you will be looking to cash a forward rookie into a bubble rookie and upgrading JOM or Armo. Also no guarantee Langdon comes straight back into the team if GWS are flying. You still have Olango for loophole purposes.
Olango only good for C loop, Langdon gives a loop in the fwd line with the unpredictable rooks. I have missed out on points with fielding the wrong rooks. He will help maximize points whilst still giving back in a month or so.
He should get back in pretty quick, being able to maintain his fitness with only a hand injury.
I am picking up Ryan's cash gen who will be cashed in, just not for Langdons bubble.

No way I am spending 3 trades on a rookie. 1 out now and then 1 back in as he is on the bubble, and then another to upgrade later and use his cash.
If you trade him now, then he's out for the year!

Have you seen Giants fixture? ZGL is useless as a rookie loop, except for this week.

Spudhaus to Heeney (or Westhoff if you want a POD)
Naughton out, Sicily to DEF and get Waterman or Fisher if you can afford him imo

would wait a bit longer for Meritt to bottom out if you want him.

just checked it out and yeah he may only be used this week or round 6...missed that!
still not worth 3 trades.
I politely disagree.
Eddy last year I would point at for reference.
Peeps that held failed.....
Its a guess either way tbh but I say keep as many of your 30 playing as you can.

You are getting Ryan but cutting JOM to get him who is on the park and still has a decent upside to his scoring and cash making potential as he builds fitness.
